You are misquoting...
...it is: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
No only is it a terribly written sentence, but it is an extraordinarily bad piece of legal language. In fact, the original concept (found in Bill of Rights from the states) demonstrates that Madison was trying to replicate militia rights from the states, but did not want to go too far. Once we examine this "right," we see it was a right designed to limit the size and the necessity of a standing military.
Now, I'm all for getting rid of our military (it is over bloated and does not justify its existence with its lack of success), but are you?
Oh boy now you are getting down and dirty, not only do you believe our country should be disarmed but you also want to eliminate the greatest fighting machine the world has ever known? Typical utopian crap, were your mother and father high hippies your whole life?
The sentence was written in a way to project a question "Why?". It is perfectly fine and understandable, unlike your thoughts. The second amendment was not designed to limit the size and necessity of a standing militia. It was designed so the a standing militia was always at the ready so when people like you want to destroy or subvert our country we can rise up and eliminate that cancer.
Just so you remember, cause I'm guessing your stoned parents didn't teach you this at home, our military is the reason you can be a traitor and still speak what little mind you have.

ewoks: Ooooooooo, I’m impressed.
Maybe you should have gone to a business school so you can understand how these things work. Or, better yet manage a large company sometime.

You must not have any business knowledge at all. Sad, really.

What an idiot. This would be the form letter response:
“Appeal denied — a liberal bureaucrat.”

I didn’t know one can conjugate a verb with an apostrophe. I always thought it was “runs,” for example.

It already has four … and a “sometimes.”

Totally redundant, my friend.

“… know nothing…”

Ah yes, another non-thinking moron weighs in.
Please explain the phrase that follows the one you mention: …” the right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
Does it say the right of “the militia?” No.
Does it say “people?” Yes.
So, you, Sir, are a clueless liberal who deserves none of the rights God gave you.;
