That’s no snake. It’s a stethoscope, which is a fitting symbol for obamacare. We will all need one, since we will have to provide our own care thanks to the increases in insurance costs and the shortage of doctors and hospitals that it is and will cause.

I’m no lawyer but didn’t the company violate the sales contract by taking the money and NOT delivering the product?

You are displaying your ignorance. In Texas, you don’t need a permit to open carry a rifle, only to carry concealed. If you don’t like it, you can leave.

Cruz’s father is more ‘American’ than obama’s ever was, even though neither were/are citizens. obama’s father was an anti-colonialist, bigamist who never gave the time of day to his bastard son. Rafael Cruz is an amazing man. Go check out some of his speeches. He can tell us a thing or two about socialism and what happens when people lose their rights.

Megyn can beat Morgan with her little finger. Madcow isn’t even in the same ballpark.

Voice, there are a lot of great comments on here today. Unfortunately, yours isn’t one of them. Why would you think these officers acted in such a manner that they should be fired? They responded to a call and accurately assessed the situation. No one got hurt because they did so. The students in this case, were negligent for not notifying the city that they were filming. I agree that in many recent cases, police have reacted in far too militaristic ways, causing needless deaths, but this case isn’t one of them. These guys used some old fashioned policing techniques and should be commended, not condemned for acting appropriately.

Looks like Bridezillas missed a golden opportunity last year!

If welfare recipients were required to show up for work pools and were ‘farmed out’ for low skilled jobs, then the problem would be solved. Work for welfare. You would be required to work a certain number of days/hours to receive government assistance. Even some with minor physical limitations could be given some type of less physical work. We have millions of public records that need digitizing. And what better way to encourage people to get an education and stay off of welfare than to require them to do actual, physical hard work? Then, if our own citizens are more educated and EMPLOYED and off the government dole we could import more low skilled workers.

Hello, that looks like a little US citizen in there! Why are these people being deported when obama has ordered no deportations of Mexican citizens? Talk about hypocrisy!

I never thought I would say this, but I am glad that McCain didn’t win in 2008. It is one thing to be a mentally deficient ideologue. It is entirely another to be a traitor.

It will be interesting to watch them scurry when people find out what is IN what they passed!

What he doesn’t understand is that for conservatives, this is a defining issue. It will ‘fundamentally transform’ this once great country in a way that will relegate conservatives to minority status forever and change our Republic into a socialist mecca. If the Republican Senators pass this, they may well be destroying the Republican party, which I’m not sure is a bad thing. They will perhaps fatally, damage the chance of Republicans regaining the Senate in 2014. Rubio, you got played; unfortunately, it is the rest of us who will pay the price.

Nothing to worry about folks. Those are just local DNC offices.

Maprog, your chart still shows that Illinois has the highest murder by gun rate in the country even with the strictest laws. And if you are honest, you will admit that very few of the murders in ANY state were committed using LONG GUNS, which is what they are trying to ban/restrict! Even the highest death rate from a rifle, which was in California, was only 45! FBI statistics do not differentiate between bolt action, semi-auto or ‘scary’ looking rifles, so there is no way to tell what type of long gun was involved in these shootings. In fact, there were only 323 deaths attributed to rifles in 2011 and statistics show that ALL deaths from guns have GONE DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY since 2007! There were more than twice as many deaths that year from hands, fists and feet than from rifles. Do you advocate mass amputations?

I don’t think this administration would frame Muslims. They bend over backwards, wetting all over themselves to deny that Muslims can be extremists! I don’t think that the two of them acted alone, though.

I wonder how a court would rule if a black couple refused to rent to a member of the KKK or a skin head.

“… and to let the people know where we stand” That is exactly where McCain has it wrong. It is We The People whose wishes should be followed by the Senate, NOT the wishes of those who we sent there to represent us!
