  Perhaps we need to remind Senator Leahy that, while “new” to the Senate, Senator Cruz was : Solicitor General of Texas 2003-2008; while a law partner, he was a U.S. Supreme and Nat’l. Appellate Court litigator; Director of the office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission; Assoc. Deputy Attorney General at the U.S. D.O.J.; Adjunct Prof. of Law at University of TX School of Law Austin 2004-2009 taught US Supreme Court litigation; law clerk to Wm. Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the United States – perhaps Leahy and others should pay attention.

  In Luke 8, Jesus didn’t care that the mad man of the country of the Gadarenes was naked – He delivered and healed him anyway. And in Matthew 23, Jesus, referring to the garments of the Scribes and Pharisees, called them hypocrites, fools and the blind, yet He never spoke a harsh word to tax collectors or prostitutes. It’s HIS Church. Do you think He cares? What business is it of ours? We can’t change them — He can. We can only chase them away with our gossiping and judging.
