Great article Liz! Fun and informative!

On the theme of the holiday – here are some of my thoughts (of a more philosophical nature). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW9jCZ3rC24&list=UUwQY5G8gsYfbJBJbmytUx2Q

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

My favorite verse of this song goes:

    Silent night! holy night!
Son of God love’s pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
    Jesus, Lord at thy birth
    Jesus, Lord at thy birth

Remember those crazy riots in Sacramento last October when two Caucasian officers Danny Oliver and Michael Davis were shot and killed by an illegal immigrant? Me neither. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/10/24/california-officers-shot-carjackings-chase/17851219/

Pray for the Gul family. They have started a family war against the Taliban, and every member will be looking over their shoulder on a daily basis.

The ISIS loons believe that they don’t go to paradise if killed by a woman in combat.

“But when you give a reception, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” Luke 14:13-14

While it is true that Christians should regularly give money to support the ministries of the local church – it is also true that Christ Himself promised to repay us whenever we perform acts of kindness and love for those who cannot pay.

Only one side presented here – but I guess at face value it seems like a missed opportunity to reach out to a family that had been estranged from the church.

One of my favorite verses: “Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.” Psalm 50:23

Well, it’s a good thing an agency like this doesn’t have control of my health care and medical records. Oh, wait. They do. Thanks Democrats! You’ve managed to create a near-omnipotent monster out of the IRS.

I am thankful for my guns. Amen. Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Shop owners should take a lesson from the riots in LA several years back. I remember seeing a Korean family guarding their store with guns drawn on looters. Worked for them.

Rep. Marcia Fudge, here’s a few OTHER things one may do in modern America “without consequences”:
    1. Lie repeatedly and blatantly to the public.
    2. Run guns to homicidal Mexican Drug lords.
    3. Run military grade weapons and equipment to Islamic terrorists.
    4. Ignore the Constitution by starting wars without congressional consent.
    5. Create a near-omnipotent agency by empowering the IRS with the enforcement of Health Care law.
    6. Spy on Americans without due process.
    7. Invite waves of illegal immigration, and become complicit with human traffickers and the destruction of American society.
    8. Make a joke out of the concepts of Justice and the Constitution by executive order.
You can do all that and more without consequence right here in America. Just ask Barack Obama.

THEY are NOT looters. They’re undocumented shoppers.

Next executive order will be Obama creating Aztlan – a true “two-state solution” for the illegals.

    @ MEnnis

Sorry but lawlessness is anarchy – not Christianity.
