  Water will very likely be a real problem in the future including in the US. remember that a couple of years ago Georgia reneged on the water use treaties regarding the Chattahoochie River. Atlanta had overdeveloped far beyond what they were told was sustinable and during the drought, they basically tried to cut off the flow of the river to feed the city. This left a long swath of Alabama, southwestern Georgia and part of Florida short of water. Salt Water even flowed up the river from the Gulf for a while. This very nearly came to violence.

  Many other places in the US, particularly out West are in dry areas. They are gobbling up their aquifers at an enormous rate but some are still growing. Eventually that farmland and cities are going to dry up. Things will get really bad if the Ogallala aquifer drops too low to be used for irrigation, which is a real possibility. I bet people will then be lamenting all that paved over farmland in the the East.

  That’s because of planned ignorance and stupidity via government schools and the exploitation of envy, hate and scapegoating. It seems a majority of people don’t understand how government and the economy actually work. At the same time they see someone with more than them and they want government to steal it and give it to them.

  The rest is very simple. Rather than admit they are ignorant, barely employable, etc., they blame “The Rich” and the GOP, choosing deflection and hate over fixing themselves. It’s easier that way. Many tyrants and mass murderers have depended on this same process. One has to wonder if as the economy keeps tanking and the violence we’ve already seen, just how far will Obama and his minions go?

  How will they get the guns? That’s pretty easy. In just a few years there will be no healthcare but Obamacare, except for the elite and connected of course. Everyone’s records, all of them, will be accessible by HHS. They see you have guns? You are a health risk and your premiums skyrocket. Want cheaper insurance? hand in your guns. Maybe they’ll deny care altogether saying you might bring a gun to the health care facility. As it is, Obama and the EPA are about to wreck agriculture so there is the food angle, too. Throw in their attacks on the banks and mortgages, and they could turn off your accounts or deny you housing aid.

  That’s the nice thing about wrecking and economy and making people totally dependent on government: you can more easily force them to do what you want.

  Electronic voting was never anything but about fraud. Not preventing it but making it easier. There is a a video of testimony by a man who could very easily tamper with digital voting machines to get whatever results one wanted. Typically that would be a race that panned out a point or two apart in favor of whoever the client wanted to win. Funny how many elections have come out that close in the last few years.

  In the last 10 years, Chinese subs have gotten into attack range of US carriers through all of the protections they are supposed to have. Not a whole lot in the media about it. Interesting to hear your story about how bad the equipment is. But then ASW was not as “sexy” as carriers so it got the short end of the stick.
