A. B. S. O. L. U. T. E. L. Y. !!! Fighting for one cause does not take away from another. We have an unlimited capacity to love both humans and animals. When you limit yourself to one or the other, you are not only doing a disservice to the one you deny, but to yourself, as well. We need to fight for all, humans and animals alike. One does not discount the other; and the Lord has anointed us all w/ special gifts to help in specific ways. And if we but used our God given gifts to their full, proper potentials, there would not be a problem of any kind in this world. Yes, animals are here for humans, but in terms of loving and being loved. They help us emotionally and physically by being War Dogs, Police Dogs, Rescue Dogs, Service Dogs, Guide Dogs, Therapy Dogs, beloved companions, etc.! THAT is their reason here, NOT for brutality and torture. Because this is such an evil world, animals need protection as much as humans do. And this should not be a point of contention for "Good people are good to their animals; the 'good-hearted' bad people kick and abuse them." Proverbs 12:10 (MSG)

Most of you are missing the point. We should not be wasting time, resources, money, and the safety of law enforcement personnel in preventing pot sale or use. Legalize pot, regulate pot, produce pot, sell pot, and tax pot.
If decriminalized to the point of alcohol, this kind of law enforcement, or lack of would save Billions upon billions, particularly downstream with gangs and so forth. I'm for decriminalizing all of it to the point that intoxication, or street sale of, is the crime. It is a destructive underground economic element.
Why should the cobbler, baker, banker pay taxes if the drug dealers don't? Nobody has their shoes repaired more or eats more cake just because it is legal to do so.

I just marvel at these imbeciles lamenting how guns are the reason for all of these killings. They pontificate about thoughts and feelings associated with guns while refusing to use their brains to analyze statistics staring them right in the face. If you exclude ghetto areas and large metropolitan counties, the United States has one of the lowest homicide by gun rates in the world combined with one of the highest firearm ownership rates.

“WRONG” is completely wrong with the guns comment. It’s about culture and society. If you removed all ghetto and large urban areas from the homicide by gun statistics, the United States has one of the lowest rates of homicide by gun rates in the world.

Barb, I do not disagree with your comments about the intellectual ineptitude and circular logic of the left, but most regular people do not research enough of the issues to make this determination on their own. Most of these people simply react to brief negative comments or blurbs or attacks from conservatives. We can win if we stick with our principles and take the high road.

Comments like this is exactly why regular people abd independents are hesitant to vote for cobservative politicians.

The intellectual capacities of climate change deniers are on par with those people that do not think we have a spending problem. There is no doubt that our climate is warming and that we are contributing to some of the warming. The precise quantity of our contribution as highly contentious and debatable, as is the wisdom of foisting inefficient green technologies on our struggling economy.
shhhh, I hear the Huffpo calling, time to go back to mommies basement now.
Hey Mr. expert, is it going to rain next weekend? Certainly if you can predict the weather 100 years from now, you can tell me that?

Subscribing to Atheism requires just as much faith as subscribing to any other religion.

As an agnostic, I’m convinced the critics of this research are correct. There is simply too much spatial and temporal autocorrelation between the variables measured to infer any reliable insight. However, in terms of anecdotal evidence, I have noticed that many of my religious friends (online and otherwise) and family members simply interject their beliefs and opinions into policy-making and political decisions that should be grounded in logic and facts. In many cases, their actions are just as circular and inconsistent as those on the left of the political spectrum (e.g., democrats tend to display rapid support for gruesome abortions yet many reject hunting or the utilization of our natural resources). This is why I am most affiliated with the Libertarian perspective.

This whack job should not have a gun

Ah, the essence of most intellectual arguments from Conservatives: “shove it”

Really? The Blaze thinks everything Obama does is controversial.

Like most conservatives, Cruz is a little unstable. He needs more of the attributes common with blue dog democrats.
That Southern eccentricity so common to the leaders of that region.

Well, on the plus side, this will prevent more liberal voters from being born.

Yet more proof that a slight majority of uninformed and/or apathetic lemmings wield too much power in our country!

This is where republicans lose my support and why I’m more of an independent and/or libertarian. Most republicans, including Palin, clearly don’t understand that difference between climate and weather.

This clearly provides evidence that our government is too big because Obama has no clue what’s happening at the highest levels in our most recognized Federal agencies.
Read his statement, he did not say he did not know about groups being targeted. He only says he did not know about the report. Those words are picked. “I can assure you that I certainly did not know anything about the IG report before the IG report had been leaked through the press”

Barack could have a son that look like Dickerson. Even though I generally oppose abortion, sometimes I wonder if Darwin is simply working his magic. Abortions are disproportionately high in urban African American communities riddled with crime. Maybe they will eventually weed themselves out and eventually give pro-lifers the upper hand at the same time!

What the progressives and liberals will never understand is that this is why guns and ammo are in short supply. It should concern them that household rates of gun ownership have actually declined in the midst of this buying spree.
