Just wond’rin,,, of what denomination were you a priest? Episcopal?

Exactly! Nail on the head. It’s too bad that people are judged by the “content of their character” (or lack thereof), but it’s to be expected. The world H.A.T.E.S. us. No amount of litigation will change that. He may win his suit, but it doesn’t change the society in which we live.

QUOTE FROM ARTICLE: “Based on a quote published by The Dallas Morning News, a spokesperson for Fox Sports confirmed that these comments, among others, were at the root of James’ dismissal (James also told TheBlaze that this same information was conveyed to his agent).
“We just asked ourselves how Craig’s statements would play in our human resources department,” the spokesman said. “He couldn’t say those things here.” END QUOTE

You keep saying that perhaps he was just an azzh*le, but you forget that THEY wanted him; most likely until someone (perhaps someone with an affinity for the gay cause) ‘outed’ him as a Christian who doesn’t hold the same affinity for the gay cause.
The Dallas Morning News reports that his firing was BECAUSE of the words he spoke in the past, and the Christian beliefs he still holds in the present.
Your argument, therefore, is invalid. Please stop positing it.

Don’t understand why so many of you are willing to argue with these TROLLS who only come here to stir you up. JUST IGNORE THEM.

What is she being paid? Another Czar? How many does that make now?

  • April 24, 2012 at 12:20pm

Notice how the news never mentions the race of those who beat the **** out of this guy. “20 or so PEOPLE”. I guarantee you if it was a black man beaten, the wording would have been very different: “20 or so white people beat this one unarmed African American.”

    This makes me sick.

Oh, by the way, I DO NOT agree with @Tomservo’s “cess pool” comment. That’s just stupid. TROLL!

  • March 10, 2012 at 10:23am

Sorry, have to agree. The grammar on this site is atrocious… mostly by the commenters. However, they are not being paid to write for the Blaze. Those who are being paid should not be making such elementary mistakes.

involved with (he lived in San Francisco for over a decade) had issues of abuse or neglect from his father or other male in authority over him.

I love my brother dearly and I would fight for him to the ends of the earth. He is a precious, sensitive, and dear soul who deserves to be loved for who he is; not so much for what he does. (Please don’t stoop to compare this statement with pedophiles, murderers, etc. I’m not talking about them or their proclivities, so lay off.) I am of the opinion that homosexuality results from a combination of nature and nurture.

    3) I also raised two sons and was appalled at the level of inculcation they were subjected to at school and especially in college to the gay lifestyle being normal. I’m sorry, I don’t believe that it is normal. And I didn’t appreciate my sons being told that if they liked a certain football player they were “probably” gay. Yes, Virginia, there is a “gay agenda,” and it is growing in strength and numbers.

I don’t have a problem with gay civil unions; however, I don’t agree with gay marriage (neither does my brother, BTW). I also don’t believe that children should be brought up in these relationships.

    Three comments:

    1) Please proofread your comment before posting. I realize that for many people here emotions run high and you cannot wait to hit the Post button; but, really, it would perhaps behoove you to at least seem intelligent enough to debate. (And I’m not just referring to this *one* subject.)

    2) My brother, who is a gay older man–celibate not so much by choice as by situation–and I have had several conversations about this subject. He believes that he recognized his preference and attraction to men at around the age of seven or eight. He believes that he was born this way. He has suffered greatly in his life by people who didn’t want him to live because he was gay. I cannot imagine all that he had suffered before he *came out* to his family. My sister and I are the only two of his siblings with whom he has an active relationship. The other two simply choose to ignore him, as if that will make his “gayness” disappear. Believe me, he feels their rejection! And it hurts him to the core.

We’ve also discussed the fact that we grew up in the same family, and I *know* how abusive our father was, especially to him. (My father was a career military man who could not bear the thought of having sired a “sissy boy” who loved music and art instead of football and farts.) I asked my brother once if he thought he was attracted to men to try and replace the love he didn’t feel from my father. He admitted that could be the case. Most gay men he has been involv
