  I have many family that are life long members of the catholic chuch all in good standing and I cannot think of one who has anything more than a rudimentry understanding of the scriptures.
  Marching through the bible on some schedule is not what I would consider a good use of the priests or pastors time….the needs of the congragation, and the prayerful seeking of God’s will by the priest or pastor should direct the teaching or message.

  This kind of discourse is never productive and I’m sorry I brought it up. I like some of the firm stands taken by the catholic church and I appreciate the work they do. Sadly it seems that catholics preach a gospel of works and not of grace. This leaves most catholics, like many of my family, in the lerch never knowing if they have done enough good works to be accepted by Christ. One simple inspired teaching on God’s grace would lay the whole issue to rest but they are unlikely to ever hear that sermon as it never seems to make it on to the 3 yr schedule.

  Bill-O is a Catholic…..not trying to paint broad brush here but Catholics generally are not big Bible readers ….so Bill does not revere “The Word” as Most Protestants do.

  I went to Catholic Church for many many years…..never carried a bible. Went to a number of protestant churches, everybody brings a bible and the bible is used during the entire service.

  What did Martin Luther say?…………”The Bible is the cradle wherein Christ is laid.”

  This abiguously black, racially amorphous, group of youthful mischief makers will soon beat a couple people to death, or destroy too much property to be ignored. Eventually they’re gonna **** with the wrong Marine, or somebody’s daughter, or wife, or with some crazy SOB that will mow about 30 of them down like grass……..then we’ll have to hear Obama tell us again about the poor yutes and chill-rins ans how we have to stop all this gun violence.

  This lawlessness is playing right into the govts hands……..I’m sure they’re more than anxious to take to the streets and take control of the situation.

  I hope Ted Cruz never backs down……..he grates on their nerves and exposes their ignorance and arrogance. All 3 Democrat losers in the clip came off looking petty and ill informed and over matched.

  If Sen Cruz can deflect some of the slings and arrows that are surely coming his way he will accomplish great things.
