Obama to Boehner: ‘You Get Nothing — I Get That for Free’
December 23, 2012 at 10:26am
Boehner was uncontested in his district this past election cycle. He is in one of the most conservative districts in the country. He will either have to quit or be challenged by an amazing right wing candidate to be unseated.
I think the real problem is the idiot in the White House and his “mandate” from the voters. I want to puke every time I hear him say “The Country voted for my tax plan.” as if he has some huge majority support. Why didn’t the hypocrite apply that logic to obamacare since, if memory serves, about 70% of the nation opposed??
Police Pepper Spray Seated Occupy Protesters at UC Davis
November 19, 2011 at 11:01am
Br@dley,
The protestors were told to break up camp by 3pm. They did not. I am positive the officers told them what was coming. They chose not to move. The officer in the video even seems to hold the can up one last time as if to say “last chance” before he sprays.
In MLK’s day it would have been fire hoses and billy clubs. I think the pepper spray is an indication of just how far we have advanced as a society.
And, having said all this… I have two kids that will be in college soon. And I am disgusted by the fact that while I have been saving since before they were born with intentions of helping them with school costs. Universities across the country continue to raise tuition at a rate far greater than my income (savings) has increased. Statistics for costs on a four year degree are staggering. So I am not opposed to peaceful opposition….but as so many have said here, they have to obey the law.
‘Stuff Twirling’: Flustered Herman Cain Struggles to Answer Libya Question During Newspaper Interview
November 14, 2011 at 9:06pm
….I am honestly confused. Did everyone responding here actually watch the video or are you just reacting to the headline? The question asked of Cain is very vague. He asks for clarification on a couple points. Asks for “specific” criteria so he can formulate a good answer. His answer is spot on. Who is the opposition? Of course we don’t support Quadafi killing his people. What did he “struggle” with???……. anyone?
I love listening to Glenn Beck. But, have you ever really paid attention to the amount of time he spends on the radio saying something like “ummm. We are working on, ummmm, something that, ummmmm, is going, uhhhhh, ummmmm, well, uh it’s ummmm,….” etc. Perhaps The Blaze should use the same criteria they did in coming up with the headline for this article for one on the topic of Beck’s radio show. I can see it now…Flustered Glenn Beck Struggles To Host National Radio Show.
Just sayin.
Hunter May Have Killed ‘Hope’ the Famous Black Bear
September 26, 2011 at 11:29pm
I love nature. I love all aspects of nature. I get that “soft” side you speak of. When I see a fawn in late spring I say “Aww” not “Mmmm deer veal!” But having said all that I am an avid hunter. Good hunters do not promote the sport by acting indifferent to the taking of the life of the animal. I always feel intense joy and satisfaction when a hunt is successful and I always feel sadness at the same time. It is a mix of emotions that are impossible to truly explain to the non-hunter. If the bear was killed by an ethical hunter (hunting bear over bait is not illegal in most states that allow bear hunting) then so be it. But if this hunter has SPECIFICALLY targeted this bear for no other reason than the bear’s “fame” then I think the hunter is a poor advocate for hunting.

Pro-Life Billboards Attacking Dem. Congressman Censored in OH
October 15, 2010 at 4:21pm
I am wondering how much this legal spat is costing taxpayers? Driehaus is so full of it it doesn’t matter. He described himself as a pro-life, fiscal conservative, blue dog democrat on Bill Cunningham’s radio show here in Cincinnati a couple of years ago. He quickly proved himself to be none of the above and appears to have no spine whatsoever. What a shame he has wasted our time and money.
Dramatic 911 Call Reveals Bear Attack in Washington St.
September 21, 2010 at 11:37am
Why so sour Cranberry?, there are PLENTY of bears out there. The only thing that would be sad is if that bear meat goes to waste. Animals kill and eat other animals all the time in nature. We are not slaughtering ALL bears. Removing a nuisance animal and ethical hunting to cull their numbers and instill some fear in them will be a good thing for them and us. Oh, and what would YOU do if little “Johnnie” was being attacked by a bear? Watch???…
