  • This seems to me like it will be the first of a series of talks to divert a “world crisis” through joining currencies, or there will be a regulatory system put in place that has the power to set the value of the currencies to make sure that one nation cannot “money-bomb” another nation “unfairly”.

Whatever the out-come, it will not be good…

  • This tactic may be a way for Pro-Life people to push an anti-abortion law… Let’s see how Cali’s anti-gun bill goes in the courts, then there will be perfect “ammo” for anti-abortion laws to follow.

  • “We can save lives by getting guns and ammunition out of the hands of the wrong people. We can save lives if every gun owner knows how to safely handle those guns. And if we can save lives, we must act to do so.â€

Does this mean that California will also be outlawing abortion? After all… it could save lives, “[a]nd if we can save lives, we must act to do so.”

  • Oh, and JROOK… as a thought, maybe you should purchase a share of these “evil corporations” and battle it out with the other shareholders to make sure that the corporation only ever breaks even. Provide no incentives to work hard, improve products, provide transportation for your employees, re-invest in research and development, etc. Because, after all, it is morally wrong to try to make a profit, isn’t it? It’s not moral for you to receive a bonus for your hard work. It’s not even moral for you to receive a higher salary. Somehow it is also a foregone conclusion that if your company is making money off the product it produces, then you are robbing the poor. Is that right? Out of curiosity, have you ever run a corporation? Do you understand the demands of time, pressure, etc? Did you make a profit? Did you pay yourself out of those profits? You see on a micro-scale isn’t it despicable that a person baking bread at a cost of $.50/ loaf would be selling it for $1.00/loaf? Isn’t that $.50 profit immoral? I’m surprised all those local bread shop greedy bastards are not the object of your ire, as they are probably stealing your money every week!

  • JRook… I am curious where those healthcare rankings come from. Michael Moore? The UN (because of course, they are a neutral third party)? Some other nation? Academia (of course dominated by liberals)? Is it not possible that American healthcare is being evaluated on metrics that are skewed in favor of those countries that provide so-called “free healthcare”? Just something to think about from a “moron” who has been involved in academic writing and metric selection.

Wombat… stealing is a concept where someone took what did not rightfully belong to them. You blaming corporations for “stealing” money from the poor suggests that people did not get: a salary that they benefited from, goods that they consumed, services that they received, etc. Are you suggesting that this is what happened? If so, when? How were they stolen from? By paying them lawful wages? Did the corporations stop individuals from going to school and improving their lot in life? Instead of making these corporations faceless, name them! Tell me specifically who they are, what they are doing that is against the law that makes these corporations worth hating. Is it Google? Is it Apple? Let’s be specific, provide facts, and see if you can identify those companies. If you can, you may be the next best witness in a governmental foreign corrupt practices act case against those “greedy bastards”!

  • The problem is not with the taxing, but rather the spending. The entitlement party is not generally the Republicans (although there are certainly progressives among them). You will notice that the DEFICIT is created by spending MORE than you bring in. The government takes 3 trillion dollars of the people’s money, and then spends another 1 trillion on top of that. 1 trillion is a thousand billions. Even assuming that you take EVERYTHING through taxing from the rich, you will only fund the government for little more than a month. Is it really a tax issue? Answer honestly, and you will see that Republican tax cuts are not the issue. Government spending, largess, excess, employment, entitlements, etc. is what is really causing the fiscal instability. Until spending is cut, Obama is lying about a so-called “balanced approach”. Taxing the rich (and I am a far cry from that status) will not even come close to closing the deficit gap. Serious, painful cuts are the only way that is going to happen. The truth will set you free, all else will be bondage.

  • Wow… the government really knows how to pick a winning bet… oh… wait… they’re losing billions of dollars? What do they care, when it’s all monopoly money to them? I would be willing to take some serious risk with money that is not mine, and it looks like the government does the same thing… Bastards…

  • Typical form of leftist “tolerance”… Kill all those that have a different opinion!

  • Two things: @Landon – be careful with the being okay with “mental illness”… Christianity will likely be considered a “mental illness” if the atheists have their way. This concept can very easily be skewed.

@TROLLM – if you look at the text of the Amendment, it does not say that “the rights of the militia to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…” does it? No. And you and your lefty ilk know it. It states “the rights OF THE PEOPLE to KEEP and bear arms shall not be infringed.” The definition of infringe means to limit or undermine. Therefore, any law that limits or undermines the right of the people to keep and bear arms is invalid ab initio.

What you want is a compliant populace so you can quickly slaughter any defiance to government mandates. You want slavery to a government that will tell you what to do. You want to FORCE people to your viewpoint and you want them all to accept it quietly like good, dumb animals.

  • It is easy to check the voting record here at Freedom Works. Now, the question of whether you agree with FreedomWorks’ position is another thing, but at least you can check the record:

And in 2012, West was way down compared to 2011… so these critiques of west are not without merit, depending on your viewpoint and what you agree/do not agree with.
