  Nonsense. They have access not the right to give you something you do not want on your private property. There is nothing good about a smart meter…by the way libtool, it also deprives a great many people out of their jobs…those meter readers are now unemployed…I actually got a hand written thank you note from my guy because I successfully refused one. Go police someone else’s state and stay out of ours.

  With all due respect…you may not see a problem with one now, just wait until it is 108-degrees and you want to cool your home and they cut back your power…I would think you will find issue with the control freaks then but it will be too late for you. NEVER GIVE UP CONTROL.

  Why not give us all a break and save your propaganda. Why should we accept what is published by a company that manufactures the meters?
  Aside from the dangers that are indeed real, I also have major problems with the control aspect. The need for “conservation” of power in this century is bogus and if I want my home at 70-degrees and I can pay for it, they can go “educate-themselves.”

  The power company is correct; they have the right to “ACCESS” their equipment but they do not have the right to impose a smart meter on private property. They should be sued for misuse of the police department and shame on them for not knowing the law.

  At the risk of repeating the content of another post, the facts are Smart Meters have nothing to do with environmental or customer expense control. Rather is is the power companies way of controlling how much power you wish to use. Can you say “police state?” Additionally, there is a plethora of evidence that supports that these meters ARE NOT safe. I rejected mine – by phone – and in writing and also put a sign saying so directly on the unit. Now, in the state where I live, I had to PAY EXTRA for refusing the meter as punishment…I couldn’t care less. So far, they have honored my wishes. If they don’t; I have alternative options but, I will never accept one-period.

  Demented Farse-akahn’s god will do nothing to the United States since such a deity (assuming one exists), would be ashamed of those who have willfully and selfishly perverted his message.
