  Meteor – you are absolutely right, the founding fathers didn’t advocate we have assault rifles with 100rd mags. They advocated that we be just as well armed as the military.

  Because they knew (through first hand experience) that to defeat a tyrannical govt. that military is what we (as they did) have to fight.

  Try reading the federalist papers for a starter. Learn what those who wrote the decleration of Independence, and Constitution said about what THEY drafted. You seem to rely on intrepetations of adgenda driven lackeys.
