  Yes, Jesus did say “Love your enemies.” Most of your verses here are from the Old Testament. I’m not going to go into a dissertation of B.C. politics right now. Your new testament references are either not described in context or misinterpreted to suit your logic. The only verse attributed to Jesus is Mark 6:11, and the portion of the verse you’ve included is not in all translations.

  Whoa, people!

  Yes, the pool should have told told the parents that no males would be allowed in the pool area.

  However, I applaud them for listening to the requests of community members and trying to come up with a solution to their needs.

  I have some conservative Mennonite relatives. They would never be seen in a swimming suit. I did go swimming with them once, and they swam in their dresses. They are modest people who try to stay covered up. Now, I don’t know that they would have asked for accomodation, but if they had, wouldn’t it have been ok for the pool to try to accomodate them for a special swim?

  There have been times that I’ve thought my relatives were too preoccupied with covering every inch of their skin, and I suppose I would find my muslim neighbors to be overdoing things as well, but shouldn’t they have the freedom to live their lives in any way they desire, in this great country born on ideals of freedom? And shouldn’t I support their freedoms instead of spewing hate for people I do not know?

  I am confused.

  Let’s say I am fresh out of college and my employer doesn’t provide any medical insurance. And let’s say I make $30,000 to start.

  Does ObamaCare require me to purchase insurance? How much are those premiums going to be, after the subsidy? And then after paying the insurance premium, I still have to “repay” an additional $600? How are young people going to be able to afford any of this?
