Idaho is fairly conservative and open to self preservation, but, I have never seen a place to register A explosive device?? And I live here..   YUP, I agree, everyone is right about why the Republican Party lost the election, well some of it.
  This comment episode is as fractured at the party itself. If the Republicans are not willing to buy 47% of the available votes and add another 5% illegal votes. HOW pray-tell are we going to win any election?? And then we have to fight the networks ABC, NBC, CBS, and yes FOX… What can we expect? We have to stop standing around flippin’ each other the bird. We have to find some common ground and rally around one common concept, DECENCY!! There is a lot of room for a simple moral concept. It is written in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Do you think we are fractured by mistake or just bad luck? Not hardly! We are being played like a cheap fiddle and WE are are own worst enemy! Quit fighting the slugs that fight decency and get in the habit of supporting the concepts of our Founding Fathers ! ! They were right when we were STRONG !! We have to get out of the gutter and as we do the cream will come to the top…… Ignore the nay sayer, support the the good. Nay means nothing if none hears….. God’s will be done ! ! !

  I would have to admit that I am not a big fan of large caliber semi automatic rifles, not because there is anything wrong with them. It’s expensive to shoot them. I like a 22 semi auto. I don’t own a Corvette that will go 160 MPH because I can’t afford that either. But if we can buy cars that go that fast when we have speed limits across the country that prohibit that speed. Why can’t I buy a semi automatic rifle or hand gun that has a large magazine ?? I do have a pistol with a 14 round magazine and it is very tame and docile. It never once has gotten out of control, it just sits there or hangs on my hip or it even goes for rides in my car?? NO Problems at all. I think the solution may be to paint BLACK guns PINK. That will make the libs crazy. Another thing, I hope you all realize that this is NOT about safety, it is about disarming law abiding citizens…. Tally up the freedoms we have lost in the name of safety, or ” it’s for the children”. Some good ideas BUT it used to be our decision to protect ourselves; NOT BIG BROTHER.. Keep your powder dry!!!

  I am so proud of the local Sheriffs for standing up for the Second Amendment! We have one of those in our County as well. But, asking the government to trust the law abiding citizens as the these Noble Sheriffs do is a little naive. The law abiding citizens with guns are the people the government fears the most. Give ME A BREAK. This government is trying, and unfortunately succeeding in transforming this country a third world puddle of impoverished peons that look to big brother for any snippet of tranquility like an obama phone!! or a bigger welfare check or more food stamps or more energy assistance or more section 8 housing or free transportation to the liquor store and maybe soon they will be furnished with pot and more drugs and then they can fatally overdose and then they won’t be a drag on society, (government). Well, the government will keep about 50% around so they can win all the so called elections…….. GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY !! And prove me wrong !! please…………….

  Morality is a learned trait. A good resource is Religion. Our Country and Constitution were reliant in a large degree of morality to succeed. God was and is the standard bearer in a Constitutional Republic. Religion was not discouraged but welcomed. The Founding Fathers also knew of the dangers of empowering one religion over another or prohibiting any religion unless it violated basic human rights. What I see today is a weakened moral standard. People call it freedom and proclaim it under freedom of speech and any other freedom the applies. Is it Moral? A point of view undoubtedly. I think and feel that in my lifetime, I have seen the morality in my fellow man decay. I do not feel that the world I live in is as wholesome as I was born into. Society today is regulated to a degree that we as growing developing humans have no opportunity to learn by experience. We rely on government to protect us which leaves us struggling for the thrill of some obscure experience; no matter the consequence. We mask or life with some chemical. We or I used to fill ourselves with a thrill of an experience, usually on the threshold of danger. When you have to rely on yourself to survive a natural moral standard emerges that is empowering and fulfilling. Try to think of the Freedoms we have lost in the name of safety. Is it worth giving your life experience away to be dependent, to be plain, to be unfulfilled????? You tell me……….

  WOW, !! That’s weird, it must be the truth!! How often do you hear truth in the presence of obama. Yes, I did hear him say he was going to fundamentally change America. That was the truth. He left out the “into a socialist country” Think about it people, if we are to join the global community, we will have to be brought down to a third world level economically. That means giving up property rights as that is where a majority of our wealth is held. In the global community we will have to be a poor peon to fit in or they will be jealous and upset with us as a nation. Watch other countries, their leadership, while hording the countries wealth; blame the poverty of their people on the greed in the USA. The world does not want to admit that a Constitutional Republic could make them prosperous as well. The right wingers are wringing their hands wondering how obama can not see the outcome of insurmountable debt. HE CAN, it’s part of the plan…………..What happens when inflation eats up all of our income and we have to chose between eating and making a mortgage payment??? you tell me……..
