I asked the same questions, friend. You just have to work through it yourself. It actually does work. I thought it was some stupid unanswerable problem that people were pretending to answer, "Emperor's New Clothes," style (you know, in that, "if I don't see the Emperor's clothes, everyone will think I'm a moron, so I will lie and say I see his clothes...." kind of way). BUT, I was wrong.

What if the date was June 17. Fred can still say that George doesn’t know, because all he knows is 17, could be June 17 or Aug 17. Fred can’t know because it could be June 17 or 18. This problem is missing a step, admitting the other person can’t obtain the answer by themselves could be done no matter what, as long as the date is a non-repeating number.

How can you eliminate May and June on limited data. Person B knows a date, nothing says the date can’t be repeated. I see no reason why the fact that May 19 and June 18 contain numbers that do not repeat, nothing in this problem dictates that May and June could be eliminated based on that fact. What if Bernard was told 17 and Albert was told June. Would not every statement also be correct. Piss poor worded problem.
The fact that Albert said he knows Bernard can’t know the correct date means that Bernard can’t have been told any day number that is unique. If Bernard was told 18 or 19 then he wouldn’t need any more information. Albert doesn’t know what number Bernard was told, but he does know that Bernard must have been given a number that is included in the month that Albert was given. Stating that Bernard can’t know the actual date means that Albert was given a month that does not have a day number that is unique. (For example, if Albert had been told May he would have to surmise that Bernard might have been told 19 and the possibility would exist that Bernard knows the correct answer.)
If Albert was told June, then he wouldn't be able to make the statement that he was sure Bernard doesn't know the answer since the correct answer might be June 18. (If the correct answer was June 18 Bernard would know it as soon as he was told the day.) Not being given the month of May or June makes Albert know that Bernard can't have been given a unique day that would just give him the answer straightaway.

And at the end of the day, you are just one person. That flag represents ideals that are so much bigger than you or any one person. It represents Freedom, It represents the millions of Veterans that gave their lives to this country. It is a symbol of everything that right about this country and to see it so casually disrespected these days shows how little respect many have for their country or for the people that made this country what it is today.
I'd say it's because they're dirtbag lawyers for the state and the justice system is a joke.

I have one question about the insanity plea. Why does that preclude the death penalty, murders are murders. I do not want a murderer to live because they are insane. In fact, I would RATHER we give the death penalty to murderers that are found insane.
Already you have embraced The Shariah, Comrade. See how easy it was?

Count me in, I have been calling for a 3rd Continental Congress for years. I think it is too late though, the federal leviathan has reached critical mass. I really hope people realize that States are the exit strategy, otherwise the inevitable revolution will be very ugly.

Sue the county, if they refused to accept US Currency. Why should anyone have to leave their country clerk’s office? I think the main point this article is missing, DID THEY ACCEPT HIS PAYMENT? If they did, he should have left. If they did not accept his payment, then he had no cause to leave, because they will jail him for unpaid taxes, he had the legal US tender at the appropriate place.

Another added a different view: “From someone who is married to a biology teacher… whether it’s right or wrong, it’s teaching our kids to think.”
It is teaching our children that abortion is an option. I am teaching my kids responsibility, not how to run from it.
Here is a question. Why did the David Aaronovitch even feel the need to explain how writing for the Jewish Chronicle amounted to little $ ? The truth can hurt apparently, I hoped the young wannabe columnist learned a valuable lesson, which is Don’t say anything that doesn’t further your own agenda, in this case, getting hired.

I classify this as NAP, Not American Problems. You want to protect your citizens South Africa, give them the right to carry handguns. Waiting 2 years for your application to be reviewed and your government mandated inspection of the owner’s premises does not constitute actual gun rights (that goes for you too NY)
Guess again, then go read "Into the Cannibal's Pot" by Ileana Mercer.
As a NY resident and pistol licensee, I am not allowed to have the weapon on my person UNLESS I am on my way to or from a firing range, or actually in the field hunting. As I do not hunt, this means that I have the exercise my 2nd ammendment right about .00002% of the time that I am not at home.

Even had the south won the war, slavery would have ended. Might have taken the CSA as long as it took Brazil to outlaw it, but it would have been outlawed.
Private slave ownership (Democrates) became illegal, Public slave ownership (Democrates) gets a boost every time a new welfare program starts.

Yeah, Brits, of course they have problems with our laws, they weren’t too fond of Declaration of Independence either. So how about this England, we’ll keep our guns and you keep bowing to your monarchs.
