I can’t wait until we get to play Cowboys and Muslims.

My daughters like Skillet and I enjoy several of their songs myself. I giggle as I see the older crowd judge this musical group based off the music. Make a joyful noise unto the lord (Psalm 100). Apparently millions of people enjoy their music and some have come to know Jesus Christ because of it. I would say that this falls under that passage then. Just my .02¢
North American Union cannot stand if the Southern boarder is upheld. Hence why the feds took Sheriff Joe of Maricopa county to court. He kept enforcing (still does) immigrants who are here illegally.

He released information on what people working in IT already knew was happening. Sure we learned a little more but I don’t see any large masses of people in DC protesting it do you? Since the video of his interview, I question the online Q&A and other reports. Call me a nut or tin foil wearing dunce but unless I see more interview recordings. I won’t swallow just any text claiming to be from Sowden.

The news coming out of California is progressively worse and worse. Can’t wear a cross on your necklace but you can wear your gay pride shirt. /shrug
@ THETRAM: California will soon look like Detroit - the perfect example of evil Leftist-Liberal-Progressive-Socialist-Communist ROT. With similar " leadership " in D.C., look for the persecution of Christians to escalate. Christians must be pushed aside for Evil to prevail.

Ultimately the owner is to blame for the dogs death. (I could go into training but in this case, a recall wouldn’t have worked as the police had him. A down command may have been helpful but with this breed, protection is hard wired. Hence why you get this breed for protection at home.) As much as it pains me to say that, the man could of acted more civilized by giving some room for the police. The extremely loud music coming from vehicles isn’t “cool” and around incidents involving fire, police & medical situations. It would only serve to escalate the situation.
Did the cops act out side of their “serve & protect”? Most definitely, some are legalized enforcers it seems. Was the cop in the right to shoot the dog? Smell’s like entrapment if you want my .02¢ as the dog was protecting its owner, this is basic K9 101, HELLO!!!

It feels or seems like I am hearing more and more home invasions are happening in Texas. WTH is wrong with those idiots, don’t they know most of Texas is armed to the “tooth”? Natural selection is a great thing.

Only if we run the Rothchilds out of the Tea Party land. Like Russia did in 2000.

Seeing as how Russia is no longer under control by the Rothschilds (no longer owes them money). He can frankly tell us to piss up a rope.

I disagree, this is a BIG deal. The USA has just declared that Marriage is NOT just between a woman and a man.
June 26, 2013 at 10:56am
I have submitted request to my governor and senators for legislation on that exact reason. Many smaller churches will not be able to stand up to the ACLU in the court system without going broke or caving in. This is the crack that satan needed to get his fingers under the churches foundation to rip it from the ground.

With the Supreme court knocking DOMA down we now need legislation to protect our churches from lawsuits for refusing to perform gay marriages. This is just the beginning but it surely will financially ruin many churches.
That has always been my concern, I do think that those that are hardcore atheists will use this to try to disrupt the church.
That being said, to me this was a states rights issues. If a state wants to allow gay marriage the Feds shouldn't get in the way.
I thnk as Libertarians or Conservatives we need to be consistent on our position of state rights.
@Frustrated - I agree with your premiss and I have always supported the states right to go to h3ll in their own way. It's these courts overturning the will of the people that is really bugging me.
I also believe the ONLY reason gays want marriage is to bankrupt the churches. There is nothing in the constitution regarding gay-marriage, but they'll be sure to grind the 1st amendment into the dust to kill off the church.
"... overturning the will of the people ..."
This story presents that the majority will of the people IS for marriage equality. So is it perhaps that fact that really is bugging you?
And how obtuse for you to believe that the ONLY reason gays want marriage is to bankrupt the churches.
What a closed mind - on so many levels.
And I am sorry but... Can you please identify in the constitution anything regarding heterosexual (only) marriage?
Boy. Those Constitutional Rights are great - as long as they apply to what you agree with - eh?
Religious definitions are not effected by this. You're still allowed to be as homophobic as you want. Stop thinking this is an attack on you.
Nonsense. No one is going to make churches marry ANYONE they don't want to. Churches aren't even required to marry any old heterosexual couple if the pastor doesn't sanction the union. My issue is that we don't moralize about heterosexual marriage, we simply allow it. So someone can have 10 or 15 heterosexual marriages, and supposedly that's ok. You right-wingers aren't out in the street pulling your hair out about the fact that Rush has been married four times; on the contrary, he's some big fountain of morality, right? It's just ridiculous. If you're so so so afraid of the demise of marriage, why not throw rallies demanding that divorce laws be reformed to make divorce nearly impossible? Seems like that's a bigger threat. Or better yet, create a society that supports the family with living wages, better paid family leave, or more social programs with free marriage counseling? But no, I guess it's easier to blame the tiny minority of gay families for your problems.
It already exists, friend. The state isn't trying to meddle it's way into religion, but religion is trying to meddle it's way into the state.
not sure if you are replying to me or not, but I don't care if 2 men are allowed to get married or 2 women. It does not affect me at all.
Also my statement poitned out how I beleive hardcore atheists will use this, not homosexuals. I think it's naive to think that gay marriage will not be used to help further destabalize churches, maybe not today but you wait, it will be.
Defense of Marriage was signed by Clintion, a democrat so let's not just hammer republicans on this
you are right. we need laws specifically written for Christians protecting our churches and our rights. Turn about is fair play boys. Sock em. Knock em. HIt em where it hurts. Fight them until kingdom come. This is war. Make no mistake about it. This is war. Treat it as such.
While I agree that the church does try to influence the state,. Your staement of "The state isn’t trying to meddle it’s way into religion" does not seem accurate.
Look no further than HCR where the govmt made it mandatory for churches to cover birth control.
There is meddling on both sides, to say there isn't would make me think you are a little biased.
@Zappa - No! This is in the supreme court because can not and WILL NOT take NOOOOOOO for an answer!
You morons always expect us to take the supreme court as the last word on something when in fact you people were already lined up to SUE AGAIN if it didn't go your way!
The people of California said NO a total of 4 times and you people just would not take NO for an answer! This shouldn't have even been at the supreme court because gay judge had no right to rule on the change to the state constitution. It was passed by 2/3 vote of the state. It was supposed to be UNTOUCHABLE - but a gay interfered illegally.
@Zappa - of course they want to bankrupt the church. They have said so. That's why they need marriage - because as it stands right now they have no standing with the court.
Get with the program, will ya?
Sanity is missing from these arguments.
@Zappa and your liberal buddies: you can insult all you like. But you will wrongfully invoke a God many of you don't believe in to try and bash Christians. You are what I like to call, wrong. God in being a moral authority and the actual (read: ACTUAL) creator the institution of marriage has every right to define what is and is not acceptable. He also has the right to define which sexual acts are and are not acceptable, and which are punishable. Who has the right to tell Him no?
Can a kernel of wheat say to the farmer, "Back off, you don't have a right to eat me?" That kernel is powerless to stop the imposition of the farmer. So we too will be powerless to oppose God.
If liberals won't stop abusing the word equal (meaning having the same rights, same laws, and same opportunities) then I guess we'll have to hijack and redefine progressive to mean idiot. I mean, more than it already does. If the government can arbitrarily redefine an institution which imposes no harm on non-participants, but still includes qualifications that the government willingly asserts are unjust, then apparently we have truly reached a breaking point. Nanny state has arrived; you don't know what is right and wrong. Trust your government for that.
And cut the dark ages crap. You think sticking a sexual organ in a sewer (re: anus) is acceptable practice? Then by all means, do it, but don't demand that I accept it! I have a right not to be forced
if churches would give up their tax exempt status this would be a non issue. however they make themselves exempt from taxes and therefore are wards of the state. the catholic church is the largest landowner in the world.
tax all churches and their land.
There is no way that churches are the largest land owners in the world. Farmers would have to be ahead of that, the federal govmt would be ahead of them too.
That's not a concern, in reality, Thetram. All the same sex marriage laws were written with the language to protect churches, although it really wasn't necessary. Churches can now, and always could, refuse to marry any couple for any reason. That's the 'sacred' part of separation of church and state.
This is not the beginning, this is the 50 yard line. Most Americans have been turning the other cheek to this progressive destruction of the American Family. 1.3 Million abortions every year, 50% of first marriages end in divorce, 2nd and third marriages are useless in most cases. thanks to no fault divorce laws in every state, it makes it easier to walk away from the family for any reason, even "I don't like you anymore". Adulatory is laughed at in a divorce proceeding and Individual morals are not necessary in the society of me me me .The american family has been a rape victim of the courts and the Woodstock generation since Jimmy Hendrix played the Star Spangled Banner on his electric guitar. I am old enough to remember living next to JFK airport and never locking the doors of the house. Today the house I was born in has riot bars on all first floor windows and doors. It sad to say that eventually I will leave this country, because if I stand and fight for the old USA, the New USA will probably throw me in jail.
1.) In every state with Gay marriage churches have been sued to perform gay marriages and business have been sued to provided services and promote gay marriage and the gay lifestyle agenda non-compliance is met with a fine jail time and or a large group of angry loud protesters.
2.) This is a Attack on the church pretty obvious the dagger is out now you can drop the cloak
3.) Marriage will always be one man one woman all this really does is allow the culture to do exactly what the court suggested defame fake marriage and uphold True marriage in fact people are already started using the term True marriage to mean men and women. So congrats now you have a derogatory marriage and exalted marriage. Thanks for that ............(idiots)
4.) Genderless marriage is Unconstitutional
5.) DOMA was constitutional though a bit harsh in some states that mimicked the language.
7.) The LDS church will never accept (main office) gay marriage or as equal They out number other groups and they breed twice as many kids so win in the long run. Culture wars always go to the best breeders in the end.
8.) This is not over but unless a 5th conservative Judge is chosen Game over for at least 100 years minimum.
9.) This does have the power to bring 80% of religious persons together on one issues but they are up against the church of modernity good luck with that
10.) Every state with a ban is now making it a amendment.
No one is going to force any church, temple or mosque, etc., to perform same sex marriages. This issue pertains to secular marriage rights exclusively, as recognized by the government. Religious organizations are free to continue their practices any way they please and they will not be prosecuted or have their tax exempt status be affected in any manner.

Yelling fire in a theater, Yelling bomb in an ariplane, whispering Sprechen sie deutsche in a fox hole in WWII, there are certain things you do not say aloud (screaming?) in certain places. I commend the soldier for his fast reaction, who knew if he was wrapped in explosives. This ranks up there with natural selection IMHO.
June 21, 2013 at 4:38pm
Hits a tree and burns up, I though vehicles no a days don’t really catch on fire all that easily?
Actually last year on the US roads there were right at 220,000 car fires , 25 car fires per hour for every hour of the entire year. Makes ya feel safe doesn't it ? They were talking about it a few weeks back when Jeep refused to recall their cars. They gave that number 220000 and it sounded outrageous to me. So I checked it out , sure enough it was for real. I can't find statistics on explosions involving cars , I'll look around.
BUT THIS LOOKS REAL FISHY TO ME.

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. Mathew 12:32
