Funny how conservatives act like it was the 47 percent video that ruined their chances of a “landslide” victory (remember those predictions). With or without the video, your Mitt the Twit would have lost anyways because the american people as a whole aren’t a bunch of old, white, jesus *******, gay bashing, inbred, gun-totting, freaks of nature. Face it, modern day conservatism is a dying ideology and within 10-15 years, when Texas, Georgia, Arizona, etc. are blue (thank you immigrants), you tea party idiots will be dumped on the side of the road like the segregationists of the 60′s.

Scarborough and Cupp see the writing on the wall for the conservative movement. But, as comments on this page reveal, the idiots who comprise the GOP and its base will never understand the direction of this country and quite frankly, its great for america. You fools will continue to marginalize yourselfs until even the GOP drops you off and then, tea party conservatism will go the way of the segregationists. If you guys think the problem is that the GOP aren’t conservative of “constitutionalist” enough, then I dare you to nominate an even more conservative person than Romney. That 206 electoral votes you guys got (in a crappy economy, might I remind you) will look like a decent amount.

A question for my conservative friends, when you guys talk about how today’s government is infringing on your rights and it is mismanaging the economy, it always ends up at the same point-nostalgia for a long gone america. What America are you talking about-

FDR’s New Deal America with ~90% tax rates for the wealthiest, Eisenhower’s era with his continuation of the New Deal packages and his 94% top bracket rate, JFK and LBJ’s Big Gov. Great Society, the Nixon era with his embrace of Keynesian/deficit spending and support for the EPA, the stagflation of the Ford/Carter Era, the Reagan Era with his Amnesty for illegals and support for Social Security/Medicare, the Clinton Era, or the disaster of the Bush Era.

Do we need to go further back with the 1920′s era of rising inequality, decreasing regulation and the resulting Depression. How about the Progressive Era of the early 1900′s when the empowerment of workers rights and labor unions reached fever pitch with the help of both Republican and Democratic Presidents. Or maybe, you guys fetishize the Jim Crow Era of the late 1800′s. What about the Radical Republican Era of forced reconstruction via an all powerful federal gov. I need an answer because if we start going further back, we’re getting dangerously close to slavery and open/violent discrimination of minorities and women, which I know you guys don’t favor, right?????

Give it up you clowns, the GOP as constructed is finished. The funny thing is that the only way the GOP can survive is if they……….LIBERALIZE, da da. Fortunately for us liberals, clowns like GB and you guys on the blaze will continue to shout yourselves hoarse about how this country is still a right wing country and how GOD will bring his wrath upon this infected nation (the guy seriously needs to get his priorities straight cuz there’s alot worse things in this world than gays being allowed to marry) and you will never let the GOP correct itself. You’ve (Tea Party lunatics) dug a hole so deep that it might be impossible to get without te rest of us sane Americans witnessing a 1980′s Democratic Party style implosion. When it does happen, I’m glad to a front row seat to witness is. Good Luck

Im loving today’s politics. Republicans seem to have to no where to go. They will have to sign their own death warrant with this immigration issue. If they don’t budge, then the overwhelming growth rates of hispanics will overwhelm republicans in texas, arizona, georgia, north carolina, etc. in 5-10 years. If they do, then all the hispanics granted citizenship will vote for the Democratic Party because Obama presided over their “liberation”. WOW. I cant help but feel giddy all over. In addition, our stranglehold on the education system and the media will be converting your children to our side. We’ll take care of them, dont worry.

The only way Republicans can survive is if they…………become more LIBERAL (at least socially, you can still be greedy a**holes)!!!!! You guys are going to have to leave all that primitive 1950′s view of a white america with no women’s/gays rights and dominated by Jesus freaks behind. Then all you guys here at the blaze can become more and more marginalized. See ya later, Conservatism. Its time for a New America. Couldn’t have come faster.

Conservatives have got it all right….. Jesus was an anti-gay, union-busting, corporate-loving, gun-totting, muslim hating, flat tax loving proponent of free market capitalism and the teachings of Ayn Rand (who by the way was an atheist but that just slipped Jesus’s mind).

Admit it, if Jesus was alive today, he might have been too economically radical to preside over the soviet politburo, let alone be the leader of the tea-party idiots

Buckle up conservatives, we’re coming for your guns!!!!! Its funny how conservatives talk about gun rights as a way for them to stand up against this “communist, fascist, godless, liberal, progressive, left wing, anti-semitic” federal government. You might as well give up your guns cuz ain’t no way your defeating the awesome power of the US Armed Forces and YOUR commander-in-chiefs drone army. Oh, and for those of you who think that the military will join you guys, just look at the civil war. Hundreds of thousands of union soldiers who didn’t care for blacks were shred to pieces fighting for what was then a liberal cause (liberation of blacks and the dominance of the federal gov over state gov). You want a war, bring it. Good luck shooting down the drones and blowing up tanks with your AR-15′s and shotguns.

If fetuses are human beings, how come they aren’t recognized by the census, how come when there is a pregnancy in a family they say we have one on the way instead of one child. Conservatives believe that it is the job of women to be human-production machines for the state. Its amazing how right wingers value small government except when they want to push their idiotic religious beliefs on others. Ironically, an America that outlaws abortion will have the same abortion policy as Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia.

To RB2225-My friend, its not brainwashing, its enlightenment from the quagmire of darkness you have been stuck in. And I am not attempting to do anything, because its already been happening for decades now- look at our next generation. And that already liberal generation will give rise to an even more liberal generation We have got a stranglehold on this nation’s ideological leanings and its only a matter of time until this nation is completely inundated with the left-leaning beliefs of the youth and the minorities. Don’t believe me- look at the 1988 and 2012 elections. George HW Bush won 61% of the white vote and won over 400 electoral votes. Romney won 61% of the white vote and got 206 electoral votes, a far cry from the 330 you guys were predicting. Conservatism and religion in this country will eventually go the same as segregation-ism.

Furthermore, I love it when conservatives like to compare their struggle against liberalism as a struggle against Communism. You have no idea what communism is. If this was really a communist state, you would be toiling in a labor camp somewhere in Alaska, instead you are commenting on my posts. Furthermore, some of the greatest anti-communists were liberals- Harry Truman, JFK, LBJ, and FDR actually saved capitalism from socialism through his New Deal.

I am not a liberal who’s gonna deny the ideological slant of the media. Yes, its true, we control the media, the schools/universities, and the government. You may disagree with us, but your children are definitely ours. Sure, you can homeschool them and prevent them from attending universities, but all that will create is a class of undereducated conservatives in the future for us to ideologically dominate.

We basically have the future on a lock as we have the power to influence popular opinion (decline of religion and acceptance of homosexuals) and now, with the help of the Republicans ironically, we can add millions of hispanics to our electorate. Give it 5-10 years, and we’ll have Texas in the bag and then, it truly is over for modern day conservatism. Welcome to the New America.

On the subject of drones, I find it hilarious how gun-nut conservatives think that upholding the constitution will help them fight the “tyrannical communist government” and secede from the “Socialist States of America”. Ask the citizens of Pakistan, Yemen, and Afghanistan (drone victims) how futile it is to resist the awesome power of the United States federal government and YOUR commander-in-chief Barack Hussein Obama. If it comes to a civil war, you guys wouldn’t stand a chance.

  • February 6, 2013 at 9:47pm

I am not a liberal who is denies the effect of the media and education in this nation. It is true: we control hollywood, your schools/universities, and now the government (except that house-don’t worry, we got in 2014). You may disagree with us, but your children are ours and there is nothing you can do about it. You could home school them and refuse to let them attend universities, but then you have disadvantage them and created a whole class of lowly-education conservatives for the future to be dominated. Its about time you accept the changing paradigm of this country.

It so funny how the right-wing is ditching Karl Rove and Dick Morris. I still remember how before the election, these same guys were fawning over the predictions made by “pundits” such as George Will, Michael Barone, Dick Morris, and your very own, Glenn Beck. They all predicted over 310 electoral votes for Romney and everyone on The Blaze was speculating about riot activity in Democratic controlled areas after the “landslide” that never happened. I bet everyone here wet their pants after Karl Rove contested the Ohio result on Fox in hopes for a comeback victory.

Feels good to have a first row seat to witness the epic implosion of modern conservatism. Welcome to the New America, get used to it.

I hope it was intentional. No matter what the right will say, this is a SECULAR nation founded by deists, christians and atheists alike and religion should be a private matter and shoved out of the public eye.

According the the PPP poll, fox’s credibility has fallen 9 points since 2010 since it was the most trusted by 49% in 2010. If fox’s credibility is facing this kind of a nosedive in just 2-3 years, it only further demonstrates the death of modern day conservatism and the problems the right will face in the future. Whatever small hold on the media you guys have will be destroyed in 5-10 years. Welcome to the new America, we’re waiting for you guys to join us.
