  As long as other accept cash to buy stuff, why would they not accept cash for gold? Why not sell gold for cash when you can purchase more gold with cash. When cash becomes worthless, I don’ think you’ll be able to buy gold with it, but for now why wouldn’t they?

  I’m sure you can draw parallels between any two religions, but your statement that “both deny that Jesus is a critical central figure in salvation” is patently false. You can ask any Mormon, and they will tell you that Jesus is THE critical central figure in salvation.

  Or, if you think that they are lying to you, just read The Book of Mormon for yourself and you’ll find that “There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.”

  A smart person would keep that gold close to home and tell people it was in a vault far away. The people behind this gold purchase are not dummies. They see the writing on the wall, and they are getting prepared. I have a feeling UT will be one of the few universities still in business after the collapse.

  The article quoted him as saying “we still had a cop shot last week with a gun that somebody had even though the federal laws prohibited that person from having a gun.” He just made our point for us (us being people who support the 2nd ammendment) and yet he still pushes for even more gun control. This guy is a complete idiot!

  Actually, you’re giving Soros credit that he doesn’t deserve. The long quote at the end of the article explaining why some rich people claim to be liberals was from Rush Limbaugh, not Soros. Soros would never admit that.
