    They also own 70% of the countries wealth, so that stands to reason that they would pay more in taxes!

    6% short of the top tax rate where they are supposed to be paying.

    No matter how you slice it, it all boils back down to the fact that the middle and poorer classes spend a higher percentage of their salaries on living, and should receive more tax relief! The rich have enjoyed tax breaks and a lower tax rate for a long time, now the economy is in trouble and they act like bringing back the tax rates from the Clinton years is a travesty! They won’t be paying at that 39% tax rate anyway due to deductions, and loopholes! The middle class drives the economy. It’s hysterical to me to see so many brainwashed middle class cons fight the battle for the rich! LOL

    Exactly my point. We all sin, and God didn’t say there were varying degrees of sinning. He only said repent. Everyone interprets the bible differently and a gay man may have a relationship with god. You don’t know what that relationship is, nor do I so I just assume keep my nose out of it!

    The Bible can be considered 100% debatable! And another FACT, there are several interpretations of the same bible verse by different Christian groups! Like I said, I am a Christian, but I can see how someone would think I was crazy for believing. That doesn’t make me less of a Christian!

    That’s fine! I don’t agree with the lifestyle, but that is their life! I don’t agree with anything Rush or Beck say, but I will defend their right to say it!

    Offending someone’s sensibility is one thing. Legislating what they are able to do with a consenting adult behind closed doors in another. If they never showed Lucy and Ricky’s bedroom we would have all assumed they had one bed, its only when people want to peek where they have no business being that they have their sensibilities offended. What if the government said it was only acceptable for a heterosexual couple to have sex twice a week, anything more is lust, and has to be punished? I’d be pissed! LOL I think all those arguing against “Big Government” are hypocrites when it comes to gay rights.

    See, 2 people with differing opinions can not only find common ground, but be respectfully disagreeable! I’m a Christian man, although some people on here cause me to loose my religion. God said hate the sin not the sinner. I’d rather the laws of this country have no religion in them, than only some religion. The founding fathers had that right in the “congress shall make no laws respecting an established religion…….”

    The point of my participation in this thread is not to argue religion; it’s to condemn the creation of laws that deny rights to a segment of the American population based on religious belief! That is wrong, and that’s a FACT!

    I still don’t see how you are arguing what is not the concern of government, with bible versus! You and Rick can think what you want. You can both have beliefs that go against how others live their lives, but the minute you advocate for restrictions against a segment of the population base on religious beliefs, that’s where I have a problem! I may not agree with their lifestyle, but I will defend their right to live as they please as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone!
