  Quiz question: This article does NOT outrage me because -

  A. I do not have an infant, I have no plans to have an infant, therefore it doesn’t apply to me
  B. I believe second opinions from health care providers are never a good idea
  C. I always do what I am told by people in authority, such as any health care provider, because they always know best.
  D. I am unwilling/unable to think deeply about what article says about our society, or what it could lead to because it might be upsetting, and I confine my thinking to simple, pleasurable things.

  Just curious.

  Really, how much more do you have to hear before you say “ENOUGH”. This is unconscionable, This is Common Core, and parents (IF they find out what is going on in the classroom, and the schools are working to make that much more difficult) are tasked undoing the damage caused by this. Most parents will have no idea this is going on. Do we wonder how young people have no regard for life when this is the “critical thinking” exercise they are given. If you are not outraged, you are not paying attention. This is happening all over the country, breaking out like chicken pox, so please skip the cop-out that it’s not going on in your community, because it most certainly is. You just haven’t found it yet.

  Really, it’s about time that we had mandatory mental health evaluations for elected officials. After all, at age 80, Sen. Feinstein has a very good probability of having dementia or Alzheimer’s. She does seem to have a vacant look in her eyes, and her speech is a little wobbly. She definitely needs to get checked out, for her own benefit and for that of the country! Let’s make an appointment for Mayor Bloomberg while we’re at it!

  The wonderful thing about conservatism is that we think for ourselves and are issue-oriented. We do not depend on pop culture figures to give us our opinions.I like SE, find her refreshing. I also recognize that as an atheist she sets her own moral compass, and we know where that will lead you.(See Proverbs 14:12). In any event, the recent invitees and darlings of CPAC have turned out to be big disappointments so I’m not sure it is even relevant anymore. SE’s exit leaves more room for Chris Christie!
