  • If we widely share the recipe for gun powder, then what can they do?

  • Oregon is a special place to live (sarcasm). We actually have “health beneficiaries” using ambulances for taxi service to and from their doctor appointments. Why arrange a ride with a friend when you can stick the local fire department or hospital with a $2000+ tab. The spending controls are just not built into the system. We have trains wrapped with contraception commercials, we have continual ads being run for “free” gambling, smoking, drug, and every other addiction ever thought of. I am not against helping people, but when I over-hear people talking about having more babies because the hospital is free, and then they get more in food stamps I have to just shake my head and walk away. The lack of personal responsibility, in our state, is making our taxes and health care costs increase faster than the taxpayer can make the money to tax.

  • Okay, Why is the NRA’s stand that “there are already laws on the books that cover appropriate gun ownership and usage” so outrageous, when the same argument is being used to justify abortion malfeasance. There are so many more human beings being predictably massacred every day/month/year by abortions?

Let me get this understood; We should ban guns, but not ban (or even restrict) abortions? Can’t have it both ways. Why doesn’t leftist logic require acknowledgement that live birth abortions kill many more people each year than mass shootings.

(Sarcasm) Yes, this is only one case of abortion clinic horror, but there could be others. We need to keep the children of America safe!

There most surely other doctors who are doing or planning to do the exact same thing; therefore we should ban them, or at least limit access to abortions.

Maybe an coitus tax could be levied (like an ammo tax) in order to discourage the very activity that causes these atrocities to be committed. Instead of a limited number of rounds per magazine, we should legislate a control over the number of eggs and sperm that each person are allowed to carry.

This is such hypocrisy at it’s finest.

  • I want to know what his class schedule looked like, and who his professors are? What student groups is he involved in? There is no “random” in this or the other shootings when they post about it online beforehand.

  • ….and my parents hoard cash, coins, and jewels, they are hidden in the floor boards under their bedroom rug. Their ammo is in the coffee can in the pantry, and extra food is hidden in the shed. Did I get an “A+”?

  • Apparently when a burglar has dropped one weapon we are supposed to assume that he is now unarmed and will never return? Please…..

  • Climate Change strikes again!

  • Many of the people turning in these guns hold them like they are a used handkerchief. Unfortunately, some of the guns being turned in are antique historical pieces, not evil street weapons. Pioneers brought them into the Northwest, often as one of the few possessions that a family had left. A good reliable gun was something that families would have spent a huge proportion of their income on and made huge sacrifices to own. Their ancestors must be turning in their graves! The lack of respect for their heritage is reflected in their ignorance and piety……..as they hand their family heirloom over for a gift card.

Oh, yeah, long lines….that is what happens when you put the government in charge. Get used to it!

  • Thank you Blaze…I just checked, and you were spot on. Permissions that were never given were automatically allowed in the new apps I had never approved.

  • The reason stories like this are written is because we have a generation of kids and young adults, for the most part, who do not know common sense things like: steel wool is not better than bubble wrap when you try to keep batteries from rolling around in a drawer!

Wisdom and life lessons, like this, used to be shared by parents and grandparents when kids were spending time with family members. It takes kids a while to develop common sense, and until they did an adult was there to help them out. That is a rarity now. When parents and grandparents don’t step up, we get over-reaching government agencies that try to….but they fail. Ask your kids if they know how to start a fire with a battery…….the lack of a response may surprise you.
