I hope he takes his punishment. And I hope he keeps his Bible right where it is. Fear God, not man.

Sir, I decide where my Bible belongs. That is noneya.

Callous? I don’t think that word means what you think it means. Triumphant? Amen! You betcha! We Christians know that there is one God and one way to heaven. We celebrate the triumph of Jesus over death! Of love over the law! That is what we know, good luck in trying to get us to hide it!
Superstitious? Know what that means??
It defines you.

I think that it is great that this candidate decided to advertise his racism. I think he should be allowed to broadcast that crap for all to hear. He will not get elected dog catcher, but I and the other voters of Tennessee appreciate his honesty. We know to not vote for the bigot.
How exactly is he racist? Where and when did he denigrate or cast dispersion at other races? You Dim/libs/socialists don't understand the difference between racism and racial pride. I have exactly zero, nada, butkus, guilt about being a white, heterosexual male. I think my historical culture is second to none in this world, past or present. I think it's a much better culture to live, grow and prosper than the cultures of other races. If that makes me racist, then I wear that badge with honor.
You voted for osama! Biggest bigot of all.

I appreciate the quotes you put around the word “pastor.” Pastors lead a congregation, they have a church and people they serve. Dude has none of that. He is “pastor” to nobody.

Well said. It is not his covenant with America, but Americans loving Him.

In China there are about 120 million Christians who are willing to go to jail for Jesus. There are les than 100 million Communist Party members in China. We agree that America is no longer a Christian nation, we disagree that we were/are the last. China will send missionaries to us soon. God bless them and us.

Dude, ProV1 was referring to the 4 horsemen of the Apocalypse. Frank knew about them, heck, the Clash knew about them. Up your literacy bro!
May 5, 2016 at 2:25pm
Amen brother, well said!

eda76, your statements are accurate. But I do not think God judges us as a country by what the unsaved do, I think he judges us based on what his children do. So the call for Christians to repent is right on target so far as I can see.
It’s not about His children…His children are His children and they will not be exposed to His wrath…it’s in the manual
TMink, and how many of His children supporting an immoral, perverse candidate? That's the major problem, I believe.
God may allow us as a nation to have exactly what we want - just like He did in Romans 1:28 -- "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"
The end result - whether we call it God's judgment of giving us what we deserve or whether we call it God's letting us have what we want (which is actually a form of God's judgment) - will not be pretty.
By the way, we should learn another lesson from history: what happened to the Dark Continent after they went through revival (following the conversion of the Ethiopian eunuch under Philip's ministry in Acts) and what I believe happened to them by the time the Apostle Paul wrote Romans 1:28, which may be a reference to the degradation of the Dark Continent into their darkness.
Then what do you Christians have to repent, since you claim it is the unsaved making God so angry?

Nobody stops sinning. Everyone is born and dies a sinner. Perfection is not attainable on this earth. Repentance is required, but no Christian stops sinning until they die. See Paul. And Trenton, the Pharisees thought that they were without sin. Recall how Jesus treated them. I am a Christian because Jesus forgave me, not because I am in any way good.

A sincerely held religious belief motivates the counselors to say “I don’t want to take your money, please give it to someone else.” Follow the Benjamins.

Maggie, what is the benefit to a patient to force a counselor to treat them when the counselor’s heart is not in it? Does that sound like it would work out well for patient? Psychologists have an ethical duty to not practice outside their competency. I don’t want to force a therapist who does not want to treat me to see me anyway for my protection. You would?

Who would WANT to see a therapist who did not want to treat them? I think this bill protects clients more than patients.

No disagreement sccosope, but faking automobile accidents is so common there that YouTube has hours of car videos of people hurling themselves against cars for the insurance.
Fake accidents are rampant in the US too. Staged massacres are also rampant towards an agenda only the government knows.

My God is big and powerful. He communicates with his children through many, many different ways, including many, many Bible translations and paraphrases. But then, my God is awesome and powerful. NOTHING hampers my God.

Jesus is an offensive name. Jesus said that all people are bad and sinful and without hope. He said that there was only one way to peace with God and heaven, to trust in him and reject all other teachers. If you don’t follow Jesus, and he doe not offend you, you are not paying attention to what he says.
You should read the speech given by Nathuram Godse, explaining why he assassinated Gandhi. Here’s a link: http://www.sanskritimagazine.com/india/why-i-killed-gandhi/
“I could never conceive that armed resistance to an aggression is unjust. I would consider it a religious and moral duty to resist and, if possible, to overpower such an enemy by use of force. … Gandhi had done very good in South Africa to uphold the rights and well-being of the Indian community there. But when he finally returned to India, he developed a subjective mentality under which he alone was to be the final judge of what was right or wrong. … Against such an attitude there can be no halfway house. Either Congress had to surrender its will to his and had to be content with playing second fiddle to all his eccentricity, whimsicality, metaphysics, and primitive vision, or it had to carry on without him. He alone was the Judge of everyone and every thing; he was the master brain guiding the civil disobedience movement … the movement might succeed or fail, it might bring untold disaster or political reverses but that could make no difference to the Mahatma’s infallibility. ‘A Satyagrahi can never fail’ was his formula for declaring his own infallibility and nobody except himself knew what a Satyagrahi is. Thus, the Mahatma became judge and jury in his own cause.”
If you don’t follow Gandhi, and he does not offend you, you are not paying attention to what he says.

Actually, there is a connection between Islamic terrorists and the Nazi party. That is a fact, you can easily search for and see them for yourself.
The most high Imam met personally with Hitler in Germany and returned with the Gestapo to train his "soldiers"....fact!

I am local. The latest I have heard is that only the gunman is dead. He was a 51 year old white local man. An officer approached him with a weapon either near or in the projection booth. The gunman ran out the back, exchanged gunfire with more police, and was shot dead. Three minor injuries, two mace or some other irritant inhalation, and a minor wound from the tomahawk. He left two backpacks, one of which was exploded by the bomb squad.
TM: You might already know this but the most recent update is he was in his 20's and had a history of mental issues. You are right about the injuries. They were minor, except he's dead. He was a white guy with a Spanish name, Montoya I believe. By the way, no bombs.
