Romney has already won 54% of the vote…..There is virtually no pathway for the others to win the nomination…..All they keep doing is splitting the votes……I really don’t understand what is going on here…..Obama is getting away with murder, while these A-holes are still attacking each other !

    Do

The best way to win in politics is to choose the right opponent. When your opponent ( Obama) is making a strong effort to get one particular candidate nominated to be his adversary in the general election, it is worth paying attention.
Clearly, in Michigan – where Democrats could and did vote in the Republican Primary – there was an orchestrated effort by the unions and Democratic leaders to get people to vote for Rick Santorum. Democratic activist Michael Moore openly urged support for Santorum in Michigan. It is beyond dispute that Barack Obama wants Santorum, not Romney, to be his opponent in November.
It is worth noting that Obama’s people believe – passionately – that Romney would be the toughest one to beat. They feel that he has an appeal to independent voters and women which could rob Obama of his chances for a second term.
By contrast, they are eager to face Santorum. They believe that his positions on social issues will give them a steady diet of negative sound bites to use against him, distracting voters from the economic issues that could lead to Obama’s defeat.
They would feature Santorum’s claim that birth control is bad for women and bad for society in that it precipitates out of wedlock births and sexual promiscuity. They can’t wait to pounce on his opposition to amniocentesis on the grounds that it leads to abortion. And they will probably use against him his opposition to the separation of church and state articulated by John F. Ken

  • January 29, 2012 at 12:31pm

Apparently you have been brainwashed and need to do your homework……I want the one that can prevent Obama form winning another term……And that’s definitely not Gingrich .He has been part of the Washington establishment for over 30 years

  • January 29, 2012 at 12:27pm

Fellow Floridians, you have finally woken up again……Romney is our only hope of beating Obama…..The rest of these idiots are voting with their emotions……They’d rather see a candidate beat up Obama in a debate instead of beating him in a General election !

I thought she hasn’t endorsed anyone…..LOL……I was a major Sarah fan from the very beginning, but now she is just a joke, along with the Tea Party…….
I have heard the theory that Sarah Palin supports Newt in the hopes of forcing a brokered convention so that she might be able to get the nomination – I don’t think that it is too far fetched because I can’t believe that anyone could believe that Newt could win enough delegates to actually win the nomination. He is not even on the ballot in Missouri and Virgina and I have heard that he has virtually no organization in place to contest some of the caucases.
