Hey, that could be a good selling point for Christianity. You do not have to wear a hijab to be a Christian. So don’t worry about being dragged out of your school by your hair. And as an added bonus, we will not strap a bomb on you and detonate it in a crowded area.

The daughters went to police, teachers and child welfare authorities and told them they were abused by their father and brother. Fearing charges of racism or islamophobia, nothing was done. They were repeatedly returned to the violent household.

The black guy did not accomplish anything positive. He looks like he wants to kill the cop that did nothing to him. To associate the cop that he is staring at with the cop that killed the 17 year old black is categorical thinking. It is like saying many blacks are criminals so all blacks are criminals. It is the same thing.
Agreed, but it is categorical thinking that gets innocent people killed by cops who assume all black people are crooks. Which is worse?

I doubt Megan Kelly is leaving Fox. That would be a serious mistake given she is in a prime time spot making bank. She will stay until she is worth at least $100 million. She is not a democrat by any stretch of the imagination. I do agree her attack on Trump was unfair, but she was definitely on to something given Trump’s attack on Carly Fiorina physical appearance a short time later. Trump needs to stop making negative comments about women.

She knows that black guy has a right to express himself. But it is not a good idea to do it. If 10 years from now that cop opens a business and a black guy about the same age walks in and asks for a job, is he less likely to give him a job? Yes. And that is exactly how black people discourage people from doing business with them. The cop is probably thinking that black guy is just another criminal. Why would he make any other conclusion?
I see your point Tom. However, there are many things that aren’t a good idea, but it’s a Constitutional right. If you are truly in love with the Constitution like you say, then at what point do you say “You shouldn’t do that…even though it’s your Constitutional right to do it, you shouldn’t do it because its a “bad idea”? I hate to say it, but this is the same logic the left uses when it comes to guns. They highlight the number of killings from firearms and then tell everyone “see, guns are a bad idea…even though it’s your right to own one”. Therefore if this kid is exercising his Constitutional right, then no one who truly believes in the Constitution should attempt to take that away from him. Constitutional rights apply in every situation.

I don’t think skeptics of an unproven hypothesis should be stigmatized any more than I think that Galileo should have been put under house arrest for being skeptical of the widely accepted peer reviewed theory of the sun revolving around the earth.
The worm has turned on climate activists, which is why they've turned from nudging to shoving. Scientific skeptics who have been effective are now often sued, and there is now a move to imprison them, which is similar to what happened to Galileo.
It's amazing to think that these activists got degrees at liberal arts colleges yet apparently didn't learn a damn thing about the history of science, or even the Philosophy of Science.

The debates so far have been theatrics with very little substance. When are the real policy questions going to come?
They won't until the nominees debate one another, if then.
CNN was after drama, not content. Kasich brought that up to the moderator, trying to bring the moderators to raise questions regarding each individual's policy, rather than instigating dissension between the candidates.

I can only say this. I would be far less worried with Rand Paul’s finger on the nuclear button than Donald Trump’s. Trump does not have the temperament to be president. And Trump has a history of walking all over personal property rights with eminent domain.
