  Let’s see: Jerry says “Obama saved the economy from disaster” – 1st of all, no he hasn’t, we’re not even close to being out of the woods! 2nd- what CAUSED the disaster in the 1st place?? It was DEMS like Bill Clinton forcing Fannie & Freddie to make subprime loans!!

  Let me disect your pathetic arguments:

  1) Abortion vs War. An unborn child has committed no crime, he/she is the epitome of “innocent”. Abortion is murder period. You cannot argue against that. It ends a human life.
  Now, no one WANTS innocents to die in war! Your premise is that we support the killing of innocents in war. Completely False! Having said that, how innnocent are you when youlive right next to a terrorist, who you know is making bombs that kill US soldiers? Across the Arab world there are millions of people who may not be actively commiting Jihad, but they are sympathizers, and do NOT turn in the terrorists & continue to live among them. If my neighbor is dealing in drugs & stolen guns, etc.- I call the cops and/or get the h#ll out of Dodge! Sometimes bullets go stray, sometimes bombs cause colateral damage. Turn in the terrorists, leave those neighborhoods or make a conscious decision to stay and suffer the potential consequences.

  Supporting the killing of terrorists, but realizing the potential hazards of war, does Not mean that I have to now support the killing of innocent babies!

  2) I support Gay Marriage but nowhere in the Constitution does it say men have a right to marry men. The first amendment Does however protect our religious freedoms. 1 is clearly protected, the other isn’t.

  1) Wasn’t it Obama that said he’d limit himself to the public financing like McCain did, and then he went back on his word & was able to collect Millions!! Obama received more $$ from Wall Street than any president in history! GE gave 68% of its donations to Dems & guess which way Union donations go? I’m all for limiting what corporations & unions can donate to campaigns… Liberal Dems are NOT!!

  2) Who sets what college tuition is… the COLLEGE!!! Why are you mad @ banks or GOP candidates for what Your liberal college is charging to indoctrinate you?? College costs have risen @ 4X the rate of inflation! You should be mad!… @ the universities, Not the bank that gave you a loan!!

  3) What was the main cause of the housing crisis? Subprime lending aka risky loans to people who really didn’t qualify. Who’s idea was that? Jimmy Carter (D) with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977, then in the late 90′s Bill Clinton pushed even harder for these risky loans (in the interest of Social Justice), forcing Fannie & Freddie to do these “subprime” loans. In 2001, ’03 & ’05 Republicans made several warnings, the Dems ignored it & blocked any action, and in 2007 it came crashing down. We fell into a recession thanks to Liberal Policies!   To everyone saying “oh so they can come in at 7:59 then take an hour to shop blah blah” No!! if the sign says you close at 8pm, then you Close at 8pm! If you can come in at 7:55, grab your one item & get in line to check out by 8, then fine!

  THIS is how it should work – the doors close 8pm, you announce over the speakers, “we are now closed, please bring your items to the front immediately for checkout, we will be closing the registers in 10 minutes”. You give people 10 to 15 minutes to get checked out, then you close the registers. If some walks up to a register @ 8:16 you say “sorry sir/ma’am, but we closed @ 8pm, its now 8:16, you’ll have to come back when we re-open.

  @PaperPusher – who the h#ll said anything about killing them? or spattering their brains (as someone else said) – a knife can kill or not kill, the same way a gun cna kill or not kill! He pulls and gun, and the 2 run away. Or he pulls it, and shoots one in the leg, and again they run away.

  If 2 guys started attacking me, repeatedly, and I have a knife & a gun – guess which one an intelligent person pulls?
