“1. Be open-minded and be willing to alter your beliefs with new evidence.” Ever try to have an intelligent conversation about Intelligent Design with an atheist. You are instantly perceived as a moron in spite of any science and facts you bring up. They ARE NOT open-minded in the least towards this conversation, with the exception of alien seeding. Yea, Intelligent Design? Moron! Alien Seeding – yea, that makes reasonable sense.
Next. “2. Strive to understand what is most likely to be true, not to believe what you wish to be true.” Let’s now try and have a conversation about Global Warming being a Hoax and bring in all the scientific data including how the NASA head changed all the date from the past to fit the theory! You are the numskull!, not them! New data? They will ignore indisputable proof, and choose to believe false evidence. Of course, just in case, as we cannot risk it…..
Come on, please remember that this was probably “the best” of the photos she took…..

Good thing that Lois Lerner is out at the IRS otherwise Blanca Hernandez might find herself being audited! …… Oh, wait….

One other article I would begin to point to would be this. Please note: there are many articles I could post, but this one is most interesting. You will find many references to radiation half-life or radioactive decay listed here. Go where the facts point. Best wishes. http://www.lpl.arizona.edu/~matthewt/yeclaimsbeta.html

J, if you are actually serious, and as you have said you: ” prefer to go where the evidence leads and leave the mythology stuff to others ..” then spend some time on this site, and specifically this article and the tons of references listed there in. You will be shocked at all the information both by creationists and secular scientist regarding this issue. What is really amazing is that the secular scientist prove the case I mentioned above, but don’t make the obvious conclusion of their own research. (Talk about blind faith…)
Just to get you started, the radioactive decay of certain poloniums and uraniums are only a couple of minutes! If memory serves correct, uranium 234 is about 1 minute for its radioactive decay, or what is commonly called: half-life.
Now, do some basic math and begin to multiply…..

Thanks for changing the topic vs dealing with the issue. The question itself that you ask shows no understanding of radiation half life.
Do some study and you will understand the answer to why ALL scientisist who study radiation understand that is was worse. Multiples worse by thousands of percents.

Radiation Half-life! Please do some study.
It would be impossible for mammals to survive the radiation of only 25,000 years ago! This one fact alone disproves the entire theory.
What makes you think radiation on this planet was any worse 25K years ago than it is today (after humans have started concentrating it for nuclear reactors) ..
You seriously think scientists don't understand radiation half life?

I am surprised that no one is mentioning the serial number on the box. I could be wrong in this case, and every electronic item I now buy has the serial number on the outside of the box, the solution should be easy. See if someone else has registered it or is using it. Or at least wait until after Christmas to see. The solution is easy.
