City Threatens Child’s Remarkable Playhouse Over Zoning Laws

I built my son a playhouse in 2004, and before I started anything, I checked zoning and deed restrictions. When I learned that I didn’t have issues with zoning and the neighborhood, I reached out to my immediate neighbors who would have to see the playhouse (on stilts) every day to ask them how they felt about it. I provided them some sketched drawings and gave them three (3) months to think about it. In the end, they were great about the whole thing and we got our playhouse.

While I absolutely agree that government regulation has gone too far, these folks are in a unique situation being in a historic district. It places incredible restrictions on ANYTHING you can see from the street. If they really don’t have space in the backyard, it’s time to move.

The only, and I mean the ONLY way that liberals can be made to understand how completely idiotic their proposals are is to put things into terms that they can understand. Suggesting that women who have had abortions names be published is a fantastic way to make them see how stupid the idea of publishing gun owners names and addresses is. I would have gone one step further; I would have mentioned that by publishing the names and addresses of women who have aborted babies, it would allow for churches to quickly provide outreach to these women. Watch the sparks fly when the liberals think that God-fearing Christians might come to their door to ask them to repent. It’s certainly no worse than providing criminals with a database on who to rob and who to avoid. (By the way, I don’t support publishing either the names and addresses of gun owners nor the names and addresses of abortion participants – but forcing liberals to consider it helps make the point. I DO SUPPORT free mental health care for liberals as non-classic liberalism/statism is clearly a mental disease.)

What nobody seems to see is how this will actually hurt the milk producers. Government’s price supports will cause the price to be so high that only people that have to buy milk will do so, and the volume of milk sold will drop so much that losses will result. Your Federal Government; running from crisis to crisis making things worse every day. Let’s give them a raise! Please let the system collapse so that those of us with a clue can get on with the rebuilding process.

America DID die on November 6, 2012. I wish it were not so, but when the takers outvote the providers, it’s over. These people will continue to vote themselves free stuff, by voting for people who don’t care a lick about our nation, and that provide free stuff so they can be reelected. It make take a while for the country to actually realize this and die from the effects, but there it is. My only hope is that all the takers who reelected Santa Obama to get some free stuff, either learn their lesson in the crash when they will have nothing, or perish quickly in the crash, so that we can begin to rebuild. After years of professing a philosophy that the makers of wealth are evil and greedy, the takers who contribute nothing but their complaints will soon see how badly this nation fails without those greedy producers earning their profit. The takers will finally get what they have been asking for and it will not be pretty.

Let’s see… I was caught vandalizing things, and the police gave me the chance to do push ups instead of prosecution? That’s a no-brainer for the punks. The only thing I see missing is that they pay for the damage they caused. Everyone rails at overreacting to this type of problem; I think they probably did the kids a big favor.
