  We are missing the bigger picture here. Why is it that the police violated the 4th amendment? They confiscate the money for the only reason is that she had it? What law was broken? What probable cause did they have that a law was broken? This is why you never carry large amounts of money on you. If the police catch you with it, they steal it! They are also doing this with guns too! The biggest and scariest thing is that we the people are allowing them to violate our rights!

  You know this was a tragic event but I love how the AP makes a political statement in the second paragraph of the story. He was known for his anti-government rants and patrolling his property with a gun. So in other words, see those crazy anti-government nutjobs who have guns. That is why we need gun control! SO in one full swoop they try to generalize all anti-government people who own guns as dangerous! Stupid AP!

  I guess this dumb idiot forgot about section five of the amendment which states that ONLY congress can. The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.
