Wonder what Judge Andrew Napolitano and former judge now congressman Louie Gohmert would they say. Based on the current drug law child protection laws and case law. Not the ideal constitutional driven law that has not been used in 90 years if ever. There was never a time that the government did not overreach and violate the constitution. You have to go with the current interpretation of the law you have now and not some ideal interpretation of the laws on what is constitutional and what is not.

Next time move the kids out of ear shot and record the animals fight it out in the street as one would record apes in a zoo fight. Never tell someone in the middle of a argument that could become physical to shove off. Like here they will become friends and direct their anger for each other too you. It is sad he really thought that they would break up the fight or move as if told children are present. They likely knew but they did not care and still had the argument.

If the cops did let her in and flush the evidence they would be guilty of breaking the law.
 April 18, 2015 at 8:14pm
Don’t like the way cops enforce drug laws change the drug laws. Calling them out of control Nazi does nothing call your congress rep and state rep to change the law and the way the cops enforce them. Every thing the Gestapo did in 1940′s was legal under Nazi law. Every thing the cops did here fighting the war on drugs was legal.
Hard to say the cannabis oil was planted when she admitted to having cannabis oil and using it for a medicinal treatment.

Why hate the cops they are just doing their job. Hate the politicians and the laws the cops are duty bound to following. The cops could all quit because they don’t want to enforce the drug law but the law is still there and the government would just find someone to enforce the law.
What law requires them to commandeer this woman's house without a warrant and why should they ignore the Fourth Amendment to follow it?

Good thing there was activity of money going in the account or the government would have confiscated the money for being abandoned.
 April 15, 2015 at 2:27pm
How dare those cops refuse to add money from the ticket to the coffers. Call it prosecutorial discretion and her passing a sobriety test.

They cry about having body cameras now. Well, just because they do does not mean that it will show anything but the sky. Why are tasers and side arms on the same side of the belt. Have the service weapon on the dominate hand with the taser other then it could never get mixed up if you grab the left handed taser.
Is that anything like a left handed monkey wrench?
 April 11, 2015 at 8:21pm
As long as they don’t shot the suspects in the back when they run away, when they do catch them as that would be murder or something.
April 11, 2015 at 5:16pm
Just how did the police determine that it was not a murder suicide. Even if it was an unintentional suicide it was a darwin award suicide by forgetting the running car. How did they not realize something was wrong when they get the symptoms from CO. When one is sleeping and get exposed to CO they don’t wake up but do people pass out with out warning if they were awake.

Suicides never make sense.

Like she voted for anyone. She voted for the apathy party. She would be one of the people on Twitter that ask what Obama’s last name is.
 April 10, 2015 at 10:48am
Lets just hope they give the jury the option of manslaughter and not only 1st degree murder. When the cop ran after him it was not to go kill him but to find out why he ran.
WTH?!?! But he didn't run after him...he shot him in the back multiple times.

Is having playground equipment in the front yard of a house normal for the area or do they normally go in the back yard, out of sight from the street. Who will pay to clean it up if a gust of wind blows the thing all over the neighborhood. The city will be ultimately be responsible even if the family that built it say they will do it. If the warning came from a Home Owners Association over the city would it be any different. HOA have rules that people have to follow so does the city. One may have a piece of paper that says you own the property and land but the city really is in change of what one can do on it, at least outside of it.
Never before in the history of mankind has anyone been in more dire need of a BJ. You really need to lighten up and get off your high horse.
Hey look everybody, TJexcite has a problem with kids playing in boxes. J T, were you born a cranky old grubbler, or did you have to practice?
Glad your not my neighbor.
Dude, eat a Snickers because you are being a serious little b*tch.
Don't hurt yourself performing these complex mental gymnastics.
this is a fort for play and not intended as a permanent shelter. it was not being used as a meth lab or crack den.
Someone is a tad too tightly wound. Have a cup of liberty tea and relax a bit.
IT IS TEMPORARY! It's cardboard. Do you people have a different understanding of cardboard then I do?
Why does anyone want to live in such a nanny state where butthurt people run to mommy and daddy government when they don't like something? Why couldn't the "offended" party take up his concerns with his neighbor instead of "telling on him"?

Come April 2nd we well then prove that this is an April Fools day joke. It may happen but not yet But not some button Amazon will track your bowel movements and auto order toilet paper before your are out.
Why would it be a joke? Seems a lot of people like this idea and it makes more money for Amazon as well as the brands. It's not joke when you are in a win-win to make money.

How many “normal” kids that were cut from the team don’t get the privilege to wear a varsity jacket. This is similar to stolen valor by wearing a “uniform” that one is not allowed to wear. There would be a different kind of outrage if someone was selling “replica” jackets to anyone that would pay.
It's a shame I had to go this far down into the comments to find one with the right perspective, but yours is the first I found, TJexcite.
At my high school, it was well understood that if you didn't EARN a letter, you didn't wear a letter. In fact, you didn't even think about buying a letter jacket and wearing it even without a letter until you had earned one.
I understand that momma wanted him to feel good -- after all, it's all about the feelings, isn't it? -- but there are other ways to do it without faking or stealing the valor of that which is to be earned.
Sorry TJexcite & brigott. You're comparing apples to oranges. This is not some "let's stroke their egos and give them a trophy for showing up." These are kids who will never have the opportunity to even try out for the team, let alone get cut. The "normal" kids who got cut will have the opportunity to earn their recognition in other fields of endeavors. But these are kids will NEVER receive any recognition as their "normal peers" simply because nature dealt them an unfortunate hand.So why not show a little compassion to a kid who excelled and did his best? Isn't that why the Varsity Letter is given?
Hopefully the Letter is indicative of the character developed from learning how to win with grace and humility, and the hard lessons taught through defeat in spite of giving it everything you had. In that case Michael EARNED a Letter in the realm in which he resides. If, instead, the Letter is merely a status symbol and rite of passage to join an elitist jock clique, then Michael is better off not wearing one. Michael could teach us all about facing defeat in the face of giving it his best because he does it on a daily basis. As such Michael is a winner to the extent his "normal" peers will never attain.
Stolen Valor!? Really? ...good Lord.
@TJexcite & brigott
Stolen valor? ……VALOR? (jaw hits floor) it’s a freeeee king high school letter(yes I have one). Unless you’re a high school jock, jocket, jock groopie, parent of such or college scout, NOBODY cares, especially the taxpayer who paid more for you to play a game than to educate an entire kindergarten class, generally just to hear you whine about not receiving enough tax money.
Put on a uniform and go dodge bullets. Now we’re talking valor!
I have to agree with Brigott. Not everyone earns a varsity letter. Not everyone gets a trophy. I realize this is a special needs student, and I liked someone else's comment that suggested special letters for kids like this one. Their accomplishments are something truly special, and if they can receive some special recognition that would be great. Nevertheless, he didn't earn "this" letter. (Although I wouldn't have been the parent that complained about it either.)
There are a bunch of sports that dont cut people and many kids go out for thos sports to get the letter...it never bothered me even though i had to make my teams...i wouldnt look twice at someone in high school wearing a letter....look the letter proves nothing...how well you play will be known to everyone so why care about who wears what
Wouldn't it be great if the special needs extra curricular basketball team had their OWN letter jackets?
Man, people are wearing replicas of everything nowadays. I remember when people started wearing the real looking professional sports jerseys like hockey jerseys, football jerseys, and such, with the numbers of actual players on them, way before it became the big fad for everyone to wear them. I felt like I could never wear something like that, because I did nothing of the sort to earn the right to wear it. I would have felt like a fake if I attempted to be so bold as to wear one. How different the mindset is today.
I am a retired professional firefighter and see many civilians who get their hands on the same t-shirts and sweaters that are official apparel for wearing on duty at the station, wearing them out in public as if they've earned the right to give the appearance of being a member of our organization. It ticks me off when they think they have the right to wear the same apparel that I do, that I had to go through extensive training, and actually work at the job, and be a part of the department, to wear what they arrogantly claim for their own.
That being said. There are some exceptions to the rule. If one is considered an honorary member due to their philanthropic assistance to our organization who have impacted our department in ways that are beneficial, or someone like this student who we'd like to encourage to be a part of society by lifting them up in a special way that brightens their lives, we have no problems with inviting them into our ranks.

It might be safe to drink but that does mean it tastes good. Urine could be safe to drink but no one drinking it as a warm beverage with supper.
