  I am from Oklahoma too…While I don’t know the Senator, I am familiar with the term, as I have grown up hearing it…It is never meant as a negative slur, just an expression. No one here really thinks anything of it when they hear it. Only when the political correctness police began patrolling did every word have to be scrutinized. I am of Native American Chickasaw heritage, ( known in Oklahoma as “Indian” ), and I am not offended by the expression “Indian giver”…Again, it is just an expression from the past that has a specific meaning that everyone recognizes. No one means anything bad toward Indians when they say it.. I mean, what other expression means the same thing as Indian giver? I can’t think of one. Feel free to use it if I try to take something back that I gave you. :)

  ANYONE can afford $9 a month for a birth control! ANYONE can go to Walmart and buy many forms of birth control without a prescription…ANYONE can go to their local health department and receive FREE birth control pills if they can’t afford the $9 a month…It’s a FARCE made up by the Left to say that people don’t have easy access or affordable birth control…If you can’t figure out how to get it easily and cheaply, you are stupid.

  Our whole family watched together, including my very active 10 year old who didn’t move off the couch the whole 2 hours! AND we have it saved in DVR, and he actually asked to watch it again yesterday!! We are loving seeing the thread of Christ running throughout…Amazing!

  Harry Potter, if it is “natural”, what is to stop the pedophile from defending his urges toward young children as being “natural”? What about the thief’s urge to steal? Or the murderer’s urge to kill? Are they all as right as you are? All sin comes from an urge somewhere within us. This doesn’t mean it’s right or acceptable…The Romans scripture clearly points out that homosexuality is actually a PUNISHMENT for a disregard for God and his laws. God gives them over to that distorted way of thinking, so of course they think it is natural….This not to say that we don’t care about homosexuals. We certainly do not hate. But we believe all sin is wrong. We hope for a day when God makes Himself known to all, just as He revealed my need for a Savior to me. Even the apostle Paul called himself the chief of all sinners, as his former job was murdering Christians. There is forgiveness for all who will receive it when God draws them to Himself.

  Paroikos and Simpleman, your comments are spot on and very well thought out. A lost person thinks like a lost person and will not see the Truth of scripture since it is foolishness to those who are perishing. There is no convincing unless the Spirit does the work. Hopefully their eyes will be opened one day and the words read hear will resonate. Blessings!
