Obama gave the key note at the DNC in 2004 and was a US senator. People knew about him. Nobody knew about Mia Love until she ran. And the only reason people still talk about her is because she is black. How many white male republicans that lost in 2012 are running again in 2014, yet you hear nothing about them. Love’s black female republican status gives her notability, whether or not white republicans like yourself will admit it.
