Christian Fined & Sentenced to 60 Days in Jail Over AZ Home Bible Studies

This pastor and business owner should know better. He is in violation of a variety of codes-building, fire and LIfe Safety, he’s in violation of zoning ordinances and he’s being persecuted for being a Christian and having a home Bible study? Give me a break. This appears to be an ongoing situation with him being of the opinion that churches and their pastors are not required to comply with building codes, fire codes or anything else they choose to ignore under the guise of separation of church and state. The Constitution says that Congress shall make no law establishing a state/national religion. It does Not say that churches and their pastors are exempt from meeting building and fire codes as well as complying with zoning requirements. Get real. He’s not been singled out for being a Christian. He’s being forced to pay for failure to comply with what others must comply in terms of codes and requirements.

I have no sympathy for those who think they should be exempt from complying with codes that exist for the safety of all.
