Free, do you think that maybe God was the one that gave you the strength to “do it yourself”? God doesnt say in a thundering voice “I heard you and am going to help you”. He works in mysterious ways. He doesnt always answer prayers when you want them answered. He does it on His schedule.
Maybe, but honestly, in order to take responsibility, I have to consider that many of my problems were my own fault, (not all my obstacles, but many,) hence I had to get myself out of those problems. To attribute God to "making" me tough would also be conceding that he/she/it purposely hurt me in order to help me. It makes more sense that God either doesn't exist or just does not interact.

Just have to comment on that first pic of the “F18-Hornet”. Well, its not an F18 Hornet, its an A6-E Intruder……Ex navy man who served on the carrier Kitty Hawk.

Too sad…. My 12 year old grandson throws a 70 mph fast ball. He got hit by a ball directly in the center of his chest. Thankfully he was ok but now wears a chest shield. But what about head shots? Do all pitchers need to wear helmets?
Accidents happen you can't go through life wrapped in bubble wrap. That's what GOD is there for.
(can't pitch with a helmet on)
It's a weird personal thing and I don't even really know how I feel about it myself.
I coach my daughters in Fastpitch and I always encourage any of our girls and their parents to invest in face-masks. It only takes one bad hop.
I didn't used to put much thought into it before seeing a 10 year old girl get her eye socket shattered by a bad infield hop off of a 300.00 composite bat.
My daughters wear masks.
Yes they do but everyone involved is too macho. If you look at pole vaulting now they are pushing the best to wear helmets do to injuries (so the beginners will wear them too) It just make sense to use protective gear. My grand kids all wear the chest protectors, Why take an injury when you do not have to no matter what the percentage is. Look at what some of the pros are wearing while batting helmet, elbow protection, foot protection. It costs them too much to take a career ending injury.

I would love to go to one of his concerts and NOT stand but I would never pay for a ticket to line his thug pockets.

Eddie boy is just an angry, pissed off little man who just couldn’t fulfill his dreams of becoming a megastar like Rush or tv star like O’Reilly. He is trying to drown his sorrows and anger with many bottles go Gin. His inner turmoil will rot his sorry soul and will die unfulfilled and angry at a much earlier age than he expects……then he will meet Satan and find out that even the most despicable people on earth don’t look too bad compared to the Evil one.
