  • This just proves the point that the “Pro-Choice” movement is really the “Anti-Consequence” or “Anti-Accountability” movement.

“Pro-Choice” has never been the right name for this horrible stain on humanity. It’s never been about a woman’s right to choose. It’s always been about a man and woman’s right to avoid the consequences for their choices.

Abortion kills two birds with one stone. No accountability or consequences for unwise sex, and no accountability or consequences for murdering a child. Yes, America should be so proud of itself.

  • Hmmm. Should instead say “Representation Without Taxation” as a nod to all those who voted him into office.

  • I was fortunate enough to be invited to a screening of this movie prior to its Christmas release. Although I’d never go see a movie on Christmas Day, I would recommend it on any day after. I understand there is quite a bit of anger toward Hollywood these days from conservatives, but that doesn’t mean that everything they produce is garbage. In this case, this is a story of Christian values – forgiveness, charity, love, redemption, sacrifice – told in a beautifully stunnng way. It is emotionally honest, heartfelt and inspiring. If we want to send a message to Hollywood, we should support those works of art that celebrate God and goodness. Les Mis does this in a way you will not soon forget.

  • Another example, validated by Ed Asner, of the leftists projecting their lack of values on the rest of us. If the roles were reversed, and the left could be rich for a day, apparently one of the things at the top of their list would be to urinate on their fellow citizens and children. No one else even thinks this way, but as this video proves, the left dream of it everyday. And as Ed Asner clearly illustrates, they are eager to act on this impulse if given the chance.

How did our nation get here?

  • Yes, he answered the question. As any decisive patriotic leader would say, he gave the order to “do whatever.” That’s the kind of leadership this country needs. “Do whatever.” Decisive, specific and to the point. It could also have doubled as his campaign slogan, and is the general philosphy of the left.

“Do whatever.” Inspiring. I want to follow that guy into battle.

In reality, it likely came out as, “Do whatever you have to do to bury this before the election, I’ve got to pack for Vegas. Honey, where are my boxers?”

Barack “Do Whatever” Obama. The left’s shining example of leadership.

  • Where are the adults anymore? This conversation is indicative of the national discourse, where logic and reason are shouted down in favor of feigned outrage and disbelief over another man (or woman’s) opinion, and in many cases, simple spoken truths.

I will continue to stand for liberty and righteousness, and will do what is asked of me to preserve both for my family and for you. I also recognize the fate of our nation and this world are in God’s hands – and no man, no government, no ideology will ever succeed in deterring us from that course.

Obama won the election for a reason, which I do not yet fully understand. Nonetheless, I know it will be for a wise purpose, and will someday result with more souls, not less, turning to God. That may mean we’ll be run through the refiner’s fire, it may mean America will falter, or it may mean we become the first generation to lose our liberties in this land. Even so, it is and always has been the number of souls returning to God, not the rise and fall of nations, that truly matter.

It may be we are called to be the standard bearers of liberty, and the voices in the wilderness. If that is the fate of our generation, so be it. Whatever becomes of our nation, may we never deny it is God who grants liberty and is the source of all joy.

What does it matter if we win an argument, but lose a nation? Instead of bickering, it’s my hope that we may rekindle the power of kindness toward one other. It may save us after all.

    America 2012: Representation without Taxation

Once they graduate from college and are fortunate enough to land a job building roads and bridges, and once they see how much is taken out of that meager first paycheck, perhaps maybe they’ll long for the 1950′s.

  • The story is not that Iran fired on us. The story is that Obama, when faced with a decision, once again voted “present.”

  • The sad thing is that liberals and democrats think they won something last night. They didn’t. Nobody did. We all lost.

“So this is how liberty dies . . . with thunderous applause.” – Padmé Amidala

  • If you’re not smart enough to know when Election Day is, you shouldn’t be voting anyway.
