    I met Matt, when he was a traveling youth speaker, doing retreats for small churches. And, I’ve listened to his sermons at The Village. And, you know what’s changed? Not much! I love this pastor! He is a wonderful speaker, who preaches truth from God’s word!

    If he was alone, I would be cheering his actions. However, as a father, I can not imagine following a group of criminals with my daughter in the vehicle.

    God did not “hardwire” us to “desire” to sin. It is true that God “knits us together in our mother’s womb,” and that we are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” However, the desire to sin is a trait that we inherit from our parents and their parents, so on and so forth back to Adam and Eve.

    Moving on to sexual desires, God did create in us a desire for sexual intimacy, but the same God created marriage to be the safe and beautiful place to fulfill that desire.

    Lastly: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” -2 Peter 3:9
    God does not wish to punish any one, that is why He sent His only Son to die for me and for you. If you choose to ignore that and die anyway, then please don’t blame Him for it.

    @AvengerK
    I did not watch the video, as I knew it would nauseate me. But, after reading your comment, it is clear; this woman is evil to her core. Keeping a photo of her murdered child reeks of sociopathic behavior.

    @Sasquatch,

    Just keep silent about things that you obviously know nothing about. Most major PD’s require a 4 year degree now, and the rest are moving toward this requirement. You are right that the pay is not good, but many people do it anyway, because they have a heart to serve. This guy was obviously not one of those people.

    *Highway 90* My bad. Thanks rtovar; that was driving me crazy! I’ve driven through there a few times.

  • February 17, 2014 at 4:45pm

    I know I’ve driven through that little town, but I can’t remember which one it is. It’s in Texas on I-90, you can see that in the video, but the name of the town is escaping me.

    I’m with you Smokey; I live in Texas and love Texas country music, and I’m not familiar with these guys!

    No Rome, it’s the sick twisted logic of the left that sees a baby as a punishment. A woman makes her own decisions, but should not be allowed to kill her baby because she’s not happy with the outcome of her decisions.

  • February 14, 2014 at 9:10am

    By 8 weeks an unborn baby has a 2 chamber heart which is moving blood through it’s little body, has developed muscles and begins to move on it’s own, has it’s own mouth and tongue, they eyes have developed retinas, and lenses, it has it’s own blood type and a functioning liver. Yet you won’t admit this is a life and question my “honesty.” You are the sad sick person here!

    Yes, how silly it is to value a human life over the comfort of another human! (/sarcasm)

    The party of “tolerance” and “compassion” is responsible for continuing the great genocide of our time.

    I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Owners are responsible for controlling their animals! People leave their animals running loose and then get upset when something happens to them. I’ve got two dogs myself and I’d be upset, if something like this happened to one of them; upset with myself for not keeping them safe and contained. My chocolate lab mix got loose one time and ran up to a group of kids and scared the crap out of them; she just wanted to play, but they didn’t know that.

    It cracks me up how everyone on here is a dog behavior specialist: “He was wagging his tail.” “He wasn’t lunging at the guy.” “Shoot the ground it’ll scare him away.” I am married to a dog trainer and I can tell you that no two dogs are alike in the way they react to a situation. I’ve been bitten by a dog that was “wagging his tail.”

    This whole this is ridiculous; you let your animal run loose, then take responsibility for the consequences.

    @Moderate
    “Plus God must have gone that extra mile to make the earth look really old by every earth science known to man.”

    I know this will be simply dismissed by most of the believers in evolution. However, who would have the most to gain by leading men to believe that there is no God? Who would stand to gain by men believing that they are their own god? Satan. He is the father of lies. He is the ultimate deceiver.

    While this may seem implausible to someone steeped in evolutionary belief, it is a possible explanation for those who believe in the God of the Bible.

    Don’t be so quick to judge people who don’t believe as you do. Human history is fraught with people who “knew” they were right and were later proven wrong.

    “Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled. Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity, and sound speech that cannot be condemned, so that an opponent may be put to shame, having nothing evil to say about us.” -Titus 2:6-8

    Unholy,
    You presuppose that, because we currently get our light from the sun, the God who created the sun is bound by only supplying light from the sun. Furthermore, you propose that plants could not survive a single day without sunlight? Your “examples” are shaky at best.

    It cracks me up that these “scientists” keep pointing to carbon dating and ice dating as the proof for their theories. Both of these “dating” processes are akin to taking 3 footprints in the sand and using that to “determine” where that person was 10,000 years ago. It is hyper-extrapolation at it’s worst.

    HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh man, now that’s funny! Your dictator-in-chief wrote the book on refusing to take responsibility for anything!

    Idiot is my only name,

    You have to have an ID to purchase not only a gun, but the bullets to put in it. Your argument is foolish, but what should we expect?

    “Mark 14:50 And they all forsook him, and fled.”

    Don’t pick and choose verses out of context as your “proof.”

    The verse is specifically referring to the Garden of Gethsemane. However, at the actual crucifixion:

    “Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved [aka John] standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.” -John 19:25-27

    “Ask any Bible scholar and they will tell you every book of the New Testament is from an earwitness (meaning hearsay), or historical point of view.”

    I know a large number of Bible scholars who would ardently disagree with that statement.
