Here’s the Chart That Supporters of a Federal Assault Weapons Ban Won’t Want to See

I have to wonder how people are so easily misled. I pulled up the crime statistics for my city which is generally ranked near the top in crimes. There were three stabbing deaths, two from being beat to death and several hundred from gun related crimes.
Then I read the part of hiring vets and arming them and putting them into schools. Until you look back at the very same statistics I just mentioned and several of those murders were vets with PTSD. Maybe we arm the teachers? Not if you read the stories of teachers killing their students: http://www.dailypaul.com/94831/teacher-kills-student-says-just-doing-my-job. And of course the NRA in their moment of enlightenment decided that TAXPAYERS can foot the bill to put armed individuals into our schools. Sorry, conservatives have long complained about spending on programs that aid the public so if the NRA and gun owners want this then they should be taxed to pay for it – those opposed to this should NOT have to pay for your desires.
The sad fact is outside of health issues the #1 killer in this country is guns. In the past month there have been 0 drunk driving accidents or deaths in my town. There were more killings with guns than I can count. Do they blame the person? No, they blame the alcohol.
But, of course Republicans want to regulate porn. Something that doesn’t result in ANY deaths at all.
