  This is right near Ilion, NY where the original Remington Arms manufacturing location has been open since 1816. I wonder how much longer until NY’s high taxes and gun control force them to close this historic location.

  Sodas been around for over a 100 years and now all of a sudden its being treated like poison. It may not be healthy for you but in moderation its fine. The nanny state is real and its here.

  So if something that emits 1 watt RF at around 900Mhz is dangerous then why did nobody complain about analog TV signals that approached 800Mhz and had an RF power limit of 5 million watts. Most cell towers operate at 850 and 1900Mhz likely with much more power than a smart meter. I’m not saying too much RF is good for you, just that even without a smart meter there is still plenty of RF out there

  I’m not convinced there is foul play involved with these smart meters, at least not yet. But if you wanted to keep these meters from sending signals into your house via the power line all it would take is a low pass filter that could pass through the 60Hz AC but attenuate anything above that. An isolation transformer may also do the trick.

  As far as wireless communication, they should be running at less power than cell phone towers. A Faraday cage would attenuate that signal if its too strong.

  If you don’t like it go off the grid. I wonder if this person has internet service, their modem is a lot more intrusive than any smart meter. If they have a cell phone, or cell service in their area then they are already subject to similar strength RF noise in the same part of the spectrum that these meters operate on. Its not the utilities spying on you, they are just trying to upgrade outdated infrastructure.

  Oblame-o was reelected and they think the right wing controls the media. The right wing has talk radio and Fox News (even though they say they are fair and balanced they definitely appeal to the right wing). The left has control of everything else in the media, movies, music, network television, etc.

  Obama is the great divider, bringing up race, income, etc as reasons for issues. Its the same way classic Communists grab power.

  Aren’t these employees getting paid? They shouldn’t need a tip on top of that. My first job was in a family owned hardware store where I often had to grab items for customers, carry heavy merchandise out to cars, etc. I never expected a tip as this was all part of the job.

  Hurricanes have been around much longer than when we started using fossil fuels heavily. During all the dormant hurricane seasons you never hear anything about climate change, and then when we finally get a decent storm the liberals who never let a good crisis go to waste, use it as an opportunity to push larger government and more taxes.

  A power inverter will work in any car, but I imagine its quite inefficient versus a generator. You’d think a Prius driver would be concerned about those emissions, LOL! You need to have the car running or you’ll drain the battery pretty quickly. I thought this article was going to say he tapped into the Prius’s battery bank.
