I’ll tell you why… because after a while of getting knocked in the teeth and constantly being made the villain you finally get to the point of hitting back. I’m sick and tired of liberals constantly knocking us down and we just crawl in a hole and hide like good little minions. It’s time to start hitting back. I’m not a big Trump fan but if nothing else I’ve learned from him you have to come back swinging twice as hard when they try to demonize or marginalize you. Sometimes you have to fight just as dirty as they do because the good guy doesn’t always win… if fact the good guy keeps getting pulverized.

Why Bob… You sound so innocent and such a victim in your tweets. Oh, that’s right, you’re a liberal and that’s how you make people feel and look guilty.. by playing the victim. Good job Bobby boy!!
There’s more to this story than what is being said.

Of course this fool must realize all the slave masters are already dead and have been for well over a hundred years.
Well they do actually have to participate since it's the Navy and all. They can't just head off to do something else, they are forced to sit there and listen to religious pandering
What right exactly are they trying to take away? Looks like you think your right is to force people to attend mandatory prayer sessions.
I am sick and tired of these people( other Americans) trying to take our rights away:( right to discriminate, right to force others to listen to worship of my God, right to segregate homosexuals, lesbians, women, black Americans, minorities, right to dictate who is allowed to marry and who should not, right to openly carry a gun into your place of worship just in case a black man shows up)

Oh but don’t worry… Us “stupid” Americans bought it hook, line and sinker. NOT!!! Only the brain dead liberals did!!
Incorrect. 100 years of court precedent contradicts your baseless assertion.

Reading comprehension isn’t your thing, is it?

By the responses I’ve read…… Case proven, Mr. Lemon.

What’s the police chief supposed to say? Unfortunately police have been demonized so bad that if they don’t bow to the intimidation of these race baiters then they too will end up like the six officers in Baltimore.
This administration has pushed race relations back 100 years. And it all started when he said the Cambridge police acted stupidly without knowing any of the facts.
So let me get this straight, you don’t think Constable Casebolt was out of control? He was just following best practices as per his training as the situation warranted right?
Oh and the Cambridge cop did act stupidly. No reason to arrest a homeowner on his porch just for being pissed off.

I bet she thought it was beautiful….. especially seeing those young boys getting a hard on. Sick, just plain sick!!
Can they raise the voting age to 41 next? 18-40 is just way too young to vote with any type of sense.

I understand what you are saying and I can respect your thoughts on it… but don’t take away from these kids who did something nice for a friend. These kids were not thinking about lowering standards or manufacturing a win, they were just doing something to make their friend feel good and by the look on his face they succeeded.
I think what you say goes without saying. Yes, it’s good that they cheered him on instead of excluding him or making fun of him. But that focuses on making THEM feel better. To be truly generous or selfless you need to really put yourself in someone else’s shoes.
I know people who vote democrat and donate to charity but then go spend hundreds of dollars for one meal at a fancy restaurant. It’s their money and they can do what they want with it, but their behavior appears shallow. People who give stuff to other people just to FEEL better or to LOOK LIKE they are doing something is the whole problem with this country. It is ultimately a selfish act to ease a troubled conscience.
But what do I know, I was just diagnosed with Asperger’s/High Functioning Autism last autumn at age 36. I have attended an adults with autism support group. My experience tells me that too many people used their diagnosis as an excuse, in exactly the same way that people in this country use race as an excuse for lower expectations. Nobody ever pushed them to grow.
I hated field day. I got picked on plenty. My mom gave me the strength of character to face my troubles and get the heck through adolescence. Today, I am happily married and have a really good job.
Don’t take the opportunity for personal character and growth away from these kids by making their days and nights a cakewalk. People won’t let you win any races once you reach adulthood. People are defined by their failure. Either they accept it, or they keep on trying.

You know… the saddest part is.. you are so right! Geez Louise, what the heck happened to us!?!?!?!
You're right, what has happened to you? When Americans stand on the steps of a place of worship criticizing it's worshipers' beliefs, cons now think that's an honorable thing. Cons-of-yore would have found that type of "freedom of speech" deplorable. What has happened to you?
This "place of worship" hosted a pair of would be murderers in the name of their religion. Had this "place of worship" not espoused the murderous ideals they held it would be unlikely they would have been members (like if the mosque and imam espoused tolerance, and love for their fellow man, regardless of their beliefs).
Shouldn't Snowblown's curiosity be towards what drew the terrorists to attend this particular group? If indeed Islam is a "religion of peace" (it's not... because of abrogation) then might it not be that this mosque could be the West Boro of Muslims?
Snow! You and the rest of your HATEheist friends come on the blaze EVERYDAY! To belittle the Creator of the Universe and those that believe in him. And now when someone wants to do the same thing to a group of people that openly hate America and killed 2,977 Americans on 9/11!!! You are calling them deplorable?
And just to be clear you are not calling the bloodthirsty terrorists deplorable, you are calling the people that have the courage to stand up against them deplorable? You are a coward and a hypocrite. I will pray that the Lord grants you wisdom to identify evil from good.
The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix no more espouses murderous ideals than the Christian church Scott Roeder attended (the Christian murderer of Dr. George Tiller). In both cases you had isolated and mentally disturbed extremists bent on murdering those they hated.
@Snow, And you know this because you personally attended both organizations?
Yes, Conservatives like Ritzheimer are deplorable because they refuse to distinguish the difference between a religion and it’s extremists. And, so do you. According to your statement, those worshipping in The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix are the ones who are deplorable, not the gun-toting, hate-speech T-shirt wearing lowlifes standing on a place of worship’s doorstep shouting down their right to worship however they choose to. Who can’t identify evil from good? Hmmmm……
BTW, I NEVER belittle Christ or those who follow him, but I will always point out hypocrisy when I see it.
I'll ask you the same thing since it was you who first accused The Islamic Community Center of Phoenix of teaching murderous ideals. You know this how? Have you attended their organization?
Snow - Free speech means we can stand places and say things not everyone will like. It means we can criticize religions and anything else we want. The price of free speech is that some people will say things some other people won't like. Hike up your big boy panties and just be thankful you live in a country that still has free speech. Well, sort of, because so called hate speech goes against free speech. But that's another subject.
Absolutely, and that freedom of speech gives us the right to call out those we think are deplorable and using their freedom in an immature and irresponsible way. The way I see this specific situation is that there are those who find what Riztheimer did as honorable, and those that don't. I personally find critizing a religion while standing on its doorstep lowlife stuff. Maybe you don't. But one thing is for certain, we both have the right to voice our opinion.
@Snow, the onus is actually on the Mosque. These terrorists did what they did for their religious reasons. They both attended the same place. I'm sure the church that that weirdo attended would be more than happy to have people come in an listen to their sermons. Would the Mosque do the same with people educated in Arabic? If so bravo.
No, the onus is always on the accuser, and in this case, you are the one accusing the mosque of teaching “murderous ideals”. If we went along with your logic, the onus would be on the Christian church that Scott Roeder attended when he killed for his “religious reasons”, just like you say the onus is on the mosque these terrorists attended because they killed for “religious reasons”. It’s flawed logic.
Anders Breivik was a white, right wing, Christian who hated Muslims and multiculturalism. Sound familiar? And because he hated, uh, this and that, he murdered 69 teenagers attending a camp for politically liberal young people.
Given the logic I see posted here my question is this. Did he shoot all those liberal teenagers in the head because he was: a) white, b) a Christian, c) right wing or d) an Islamaphobe.
"[Timothy] McVeigh was confirmed at the Good Shepherd Church in Pendleton, New York." (Wiki article on McVeigh). Kind of makes you wonder what they are teaching in the old Good Shepherd Church doesn't it? Or does it?
Snowblo, the religion they are practicing teaches exactly what you are saying the "extremists" are doing. How are they extreme if they are doing what the islam says they are supposed to do. It's not just a religion, it's a way of life and a system of law all wrapped together. It is not inclusive or accepting, the goal is to eliminate all who do not submit and convert. If people don't wake up to this we will all pay dearly for this PC mistake. Being PC towards a group that just wants you dead doesn't work.
Every faith once preached holy doctrine that is no longer acceptable religious teaching. For example, most Islamic mosques no longer teach about the religious jihad you point out even though it may be mentioned in their holy book, just like most Christian churches no longer teach that slavery is acceptable even though it is condoned by their holy book. I would find it terribly extreme if a Christian wanted to enslave someone, but according to your logic, how would that be extreme if they are doing exactly that which Christianity condones? (And yes, the Bible unequivocally condones slavery and everything that goes along with it such as violence and selling of humans.). If you are going to start judging a whole religion because of a very few American extremists that have come out of their places of worship to terrorize other Americans, I can show you just as many that have come out of American Christian churches who have terrorized other Americans – all in the name of Christianity. It’s not about being PC, it’s about their right to religious freedom. And, just like President Obama has said when talking to American Muslims regarding treatment of immigrant communities in America, I will stand with Muslims and any other immigrant community if the tides of war turn against them. I will not go back to the days of FDR and how the Japanese were treated after Pearl Harbor. Seems some Cons are all too willing to do just that.
Snowblown, your name refers to cocaine right? Probably should lay off for awhile.
Nice one, Rick, and very original. Never tried the stuff and now too old to want to. I live in the NE and my icon name is in regards to the heavy snowfall we had this winter. Sorry if it isn't very creative. I'll see you on the Cape in a couple months. Stay on the elbow every summer.

Well, well, well… Don’t you know, once again the unions take over and it ends up useless. They need to take this out of the gubermint’s hands and privatize airport security.

“Maybe we were not skeptical enough,” Schieffer responded, going on, though, to place the bulk of the responsibility on Obama’s opponents. “It was a campaign … it is the role of the opponents to make the campaign. I think as journalists — what we do is watch the campaign and we report what the two sides are doing.”
This is of course unless you are a Republican then the MSM will do everything in their power to knock you down. Isn’t that right Candy & Georgie?!?!?!

What does having a selective abortion (NOT a medically necessary abortion) have to do with woman’s health? If anything, it put a woman’s health more at risk.

How in the world could you not miss two dogs in your home for hours? Wouldn’t the owner find it weird that neither dog had crossed his path all day?
Un: We had a Fort Lauderdale cop that left his his brand new $2,500 special issue AR-15 in the trunk of his car at home overnight. In the morning the car and the rifle were gone! Do you know what happened to him? NADA! That's what.
I read the WPLG-TV article and comments. The debate centered around how long the dogs were actually left in the vehicle. It ranged anywhere from 4 to about 10 hours. Regardless, with the heat and humidity, anything in that time frame is enough to kill them. He worked the midnight shift, so he probably got home around 8:00AM. Found in the "evening", but one comment supposedly from a neighbor said it was discovered in the afternoon. A senseless tragedy either way.
Sounds like this guy got home after a long shift (it says he got home around midnight) and then probably took a shower, went to bed, and came back out the NEXT EVENING! to check on the dogs. Appears on the surface to be total neglect.
I don't understand this. He worked with those dogs for years. How did he, out of the blue, just forget them in his SUV? Something else is going on.
Did he always bring them home with him? Did he normally drop them off at the station, and just forgot to this time? I don't understand the situation, and so I will be withholding final judgment until I get more information.
Sharpton said they wereProbably Black Labs!!!! (Just kidding)
OK, he is now responsible for the death of 2 officers.
ANYONE else would already be in jail for leaving 1 dog in the car, this guy left 2, AND THEY ARE CONSIDERED OFFICERS!!!!
this is life in prison
There just dogs for goodness sake!
Reminds me of the Texas Mother, that left her toddler in the car, because her husband couldn't take the kid to daycare. Out of her normal routine, so she totally forgot.
This was the officer's responsibility and part of his routine. No matter how tired, routines are habits, and hard to break.
I think something is awry. Maybe he hit the bar before heading home.
Isn't killing a police K-9 a felony?
If the dogs were police dogs the officer should be charged with murdering a police officer
Um…..Captain…. um…. You know those two dogs I handle everyday?……Um….Well…Uh…I um can’t seem to wake them…..Yeah I tried treats and everything….I think…um….Maybe I left them in the hot Van to long…..oh….well it was only a few minutes……how long?.. ….Um …uh…..1080…Yes that was thousand…Oh I should stay home a few days?!…..what should I do with the dogs?.. …..UP WHERE SIR?! …Um…I dont think they will both fit………/hangup……Hello Sir?……..Oh Boy!
We all know what happened. After work drunken stupor.
IF this was a taxpayer/civilian he would fargin be UNDER the jail already and PETA would be shooting his wife and kids.
So is he gonna be charged with killing a police officer? I want to see accountability for peoples actions not a scapegoat.
