  • I hope Nancy Pelosi invites him over here so he can get some free obamacare and focus on his art and not have to worry about getting sick.

  • Thanks everybody. The idea of accepting the gulag scenario just rankled. Now I wonder about his motivation for suggesting such deadly stupidity.

  • Forgive my changing the subject, but I’ve been travelling and haven’t had a chance to post this question. Did I hear correctly a few weeks back that Glenn suggested overwhelming the jail system if a gun confiscation were to occur? I think I heard him make reference to some Chinese strategem.
    Thanks.

  • Here’s a troubling story. US offered assistance very early in IF Japan dismantled the reactors.

The BBC link cited this: 2226The Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper, quoting a senior official of the ruling Democratic Party of Japan, said the US made the offer immediately after the disaster damaged Fukushima No 1 nuclear plant. According to the unnamed senior official, US support was based on dismantling the troubled reactors run by Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO) some 250 km (155 miles) northeast of Tokyo. However, the government and TEPCO thought the cooling system could be restored by themselves, the report said. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/9428501.stm

  • sure the progressive democrats are filthy hypocrites. saw him on 60 minutes and thought that he’s been co-opted…Barney Frank gives him props and then revealing his ‘victimology’ and then a book deal and all on a state-controlled media outlet. Witness the purchase in a co-opting of a politician. maybe the camp will sue and compel him to reveal the abuser…a long-time progressive democrat congressman from MA perhaps?

  • hey “FTN”
Read my response to The_Ancient and tell me I’m sitting on my thumb. PS. I’ve refused more pay from people for helping extract them than I’ve taken. See, I make enough just enough from my commercial accounts to help stuck folks, and I do it for free because I can. Ponder this: a drunk skids through a light and hits a minivan with mom and three kids inside, pushing the fender onto the tire but not popping it. Cops take drunkard to jail and leave mom with three crying kids to call and wait for a tow truck. You got a solution Mr. Can do Comment?

  • To: The_Ancient. I own a plow truck, and have pulled many from snow. When a vehicle gets stuck, spinning wheels turn snow to ice, ruts form, and heavy things slide in unpredictable manners including the rescue truck. The slack or lack thereof in the chain, the transmission slipping, and or one of the four wheel drive tires jump/spin/bite-don’t bite…all occur quickly and defy the notions that onlookers think should occur. Try this, keeping in mind your gloves just froze and now it is bare-handed time: dig a hole through a foot of packed snow so that you can attach a freezing cold chain to the ideal location on a vehicle’s underside that won’t be ripped out when pulling forces are applied. Oh? Did you say a front end loader is stuck? might need to do it twice with two chains attached to a cold, spreader rig. Oh? Only one chain because the clevis shattered on the other, longer one? Once done with that, and while still cold get back into the vehicle, shake off the stresses, catch your breath and ignore an empty stomach and full bladdeer and declare for the world, “Absolutely nothing will go wrong.”

  • Gotta love how this city boy apartment dweller knows the intricacies of snow-bound equipment recovery. Doooshbag, cozy in his shorts yelling insults at men braving the weather. Forgive him though, the only recovery equipment he’s familiar with are the fingers he pulls things out of his rectum with.

  • Ritualized slaughter? Does that mean the vests aare blessed?

  • This story nicely bumps the the C4 found in the NY cemetary now doesn’t it? Can we expect a forensics determinitation to the C4′s source?
