  • Best analogy I have heard yet for Jay Carney’s job.

  • Perhaps He is more angry than derisive. This might explain our present state.

  • A few years ago some idiot here in my town, who was I think may have been dealing drugs, heard some kinds coming to his door one Halloween night. So he thought it was someone coming to steal his drugs or something and got his AR-15 and started blasting away at his front door. Killed a kid.

Joe Biden has got to be the biggest moron ever to hold public office let alone be one heart beat from being President. Boss Hogg looks like a Mensa candidate next to Joe.

  • We are already on a hydrogen economy. I am not a chemist but because of my interest, I spent a lot of time in the hydrogen energy news group in the old usenet. I learned from some very knowledgeable people that all of our fuels are hydrocarbons meaning that the hydrogen atoms are linked to carbon atoms to make a compact molecule. This is why if you look up the amount of BTU’s (energy) in these different chemical combinations you will find that the amount of BTU’s is directly proportional to how many hydrogen atoms are linked to the carbon atoms.

    From wikipedia web site:
    1 gallon of gasoline = 114,000 BTU’s 8 carbon atoms and 18 hydrogen atoms
126 cubic ft. natural gas = 114,000 BTU’s 1 carbon atom and 4 hydrogen atoms
    357 cubic ft. hydrogen = 114,000 BTU’s. 1 hydrogen atom

So from this you have to compress or liquify 357 cubic feet of hydrogen to get the equivalent amount of energy that you get from 1 gallon of gasoline that you just pour into a tank in natural liquid form without any special pressurization or liquification/ thermos container.

The only reason why hydrogen has any traction is because of the lefts insistence that carbon (CO2) is a pollutant. My opinion is that this ploy is yet another way to put another sword through the heart of the economy, just as all the debt is another way to kill the economy.

If you want to get rid of carbon dioxide from burning hydrocarbons then come up with a different carrier.

  • The progressives had a plan and have worked the plan. They have been working the plan for over 100 years. Normal (conservative) people were not paying the kind of attention that we should have been. And so while we were busy having families and working for a living the progressives quietly invaded the media, education, unions, and the government.

    1. By taking over education they can indoctrinate our young.
    2. By taking over the media they can continue the indoctrination and guide the public’s mind.
    3. By taking over the unions they have access to a large block of minds that did not make it to the indoctrination centers. Using intimidation and the herd mentality they can get the desired results.
    4. By taking over the government they can make sure that, education, unions, and media, remain in their control by steering money and privilege to these groups thus solidifying their hold.

Sure this makes us mad. But being mad just makes us targets of those in control who can twist words and images to their own desires. What we need is a plan. Glenn has the plan. Conservatives need to be more active in the media and education and work our 100 year plan. Progressivism can be seductive because it doesn’t require hard choices, or hard work. Just feelings. Look at Barack Obama who never accelled at anything except community organizing and now he is President of the US.

  • I didn’t watch the circus because it all just makes me sick. This looks like a picture of the “Three Stooges” although I might be insulting Moe, Larry, and Curley/Shemp. There are a lot of us here in SC who have tried to get rid of Grahamnesty but he still got 2/3 of the vote. He is a one trick pony who only supports the military. The rest of it is negotiable.

  • Last one to Galt’s Gulch is a rotten egg!!!

  • We have TERM LIMITS. It’s called election day. Mobilize voters in your local precinct. Word is that the reason why Obama was voted in was because the Republican base did not turn out.

  • Yeah, South Carolina (where I live) is in every list but somehow didn’t make the top 5 for Syphilis. Don’t know how we missed out on that. Y’all be careful out there.

  • Yup. Just like in those old 1950′s science fiction movies. I don’t know how much fuel they used but if the rocket was full of fuel and it used all of it for this test then imagine how much fuel it would take to slow a rocket down that is coming from space and land gracefully. Then hopefully take off again if you are landing on Mars.

    But it’s a first step.
