You aren't supposed to care about anything. I think its more interesting if you have kids.
the only thing you care about is when your next obama check arrives--you are a sad, sad American--but a great communist!
Absolutely you should care! I've been watching the llws since my two boys were younger (Oldest son is now 24). I get more enjoyment out of watching these kids play, then I do professional ball. Why? Because professional players are in it for the money, the 13 year olds are in it because of passion for the game, and it shows in their play.
Uranium, just remember these kids (All kids) are the future of this country. While its just a ball game, realize that it builds character. Adults caring and involvement is mandatory.

Summer enrichment program is learning opportunity for little Spartans
Summer fun and learning go hand-in-hand during the district’s Summer Enrichment program. Maine-Endwell’s littlest Spartans are enjoying themselves while they are building literacy and math skills, along with a foundation for future academic success.
The program, developed by administrative interns Lori Asquith and Heather Pufky, is taking place over five consecutive weeks at Maine Memorial. It was offered, at no cost, to any district student enrolled in early kindergarten, or kindergarten, for the 2016-17 school year. Transportation is provided.
See a photo gallery below.
Each day students rotate through stations designed around literacy, math, science, art, music or physical education. The lessons are taught by our own Maine-Endwell staff. High School students (paid interns and volunteers) help the teachers out in the classroom and serve as student mentors to the children.
On Fridays, the students extend their learning beyond the classroom walls by taking field trips into the community. The first weeks of the program included trips to Animal Adventure, a blueberry picking excursion, and a walk on the nature trails at Binghamton University.
The students receive a free breakfast and lunch daily, funded entirely through the national Summer Food Service Program. Family members are invited to join their student for a free lunch on Fridays when lunch is served at the school, rather than on the field t
