  • Based on most of the comments about this story I have come to the following conclusion.

Either most of you have watched way too many movies and TV series or this nation has become way too much like a movie or TV series. Regardless it is clear that Hollywood has successfully transitioned screen life into our real life psyche. Unlike most of you I don’t see that as a conspiracy. I see it as an inevitable result of our movie culture. We would all rather explain something as it would occur in a Jack Bauer “24″ episode or we compare real events to that fantasy as a standard finding fault not in the fantasy but in the reality.

Hopefully we can all snap out of it.

Honestly, who would want to play for a team representing New York or California anyway? Those two states are the harbingers of stupidity in this country and that stupidity is reflected in these teams.

  • I wonder what they think a bill like this will do to mental health care? Now even if I thought I needed help mentally I would not seek help knowing the limits that come with it. Nice going libs.

  • So how is it not discriminatory for a lending institution backed by tax dollars to refuse to lend to a legal business operation for other than financial reasons?

I would hope the government would step in and take away GE Lending federal backing unless they reverse course. Come on, the government stepped in and forced banks to lend to people who couldn’t afford loans for all manor of things like housing, cars, cell phones contracts and yet they will let this slide because its part of than agenda but not against the law.!! Makes me sick.

  • The point is than in hoping whites did it you are attempting to make a case for it before you know the facts. It shows your bias, racist and in the event no one saw or captured the individuals you would attempt in every way to make it accepted as fact.

I totally reject the notion that whites aren’t profiled or seen as a group when something bad happens by a white person. I think many minorities see it just that way. Just by the fact that Walsh hoped this Boston bombing would be a white person shows that notion to be false. Walsh didn’t say I hope it Mr. Rogers and by the way he is white.

  • Sorry to say that the comparisons don’t work. First Guns are band from ownership by children. Second, these images show guns in the school in a child’s hands. The gun is band in schools for adults and children. Third, little red riding hood is not band in any schools in my county so this is obviously a local issue and not a national one. Forth, dodge ball is also not band in any schools in my county. Again a local issue and not a national one.

Gun are and should remain a local issue and not a national one. Making the gun laws a national issue are what makes them **** against the 2nd amendment. We have the right in this country to keep and bare arms except where local ordnance prohibit it on public property or where private owners prohibit it on private land. In fact, you have the right to prohibit firearms on your property and in your home. No office of the law can carry a firearm on your property if you ask them not too unless they have probable cause to do so. Permission is assumed unless you speak up.

  • I touch a beer can and I know within 10 minutes it will be empty. Once its empty I know instantly that it will not fill again with great tasting brew and that I will be headed to the cooler for another. Yes I am the beer drinking time traveler. Can I have my patent now? And while your at it toss in a Nobel Piece Prize. I hear those come for nothing these days.

  • Science and Religion are yin and yang to one another. To much of one w/o being checked by the other tends to end badly. Fortunately we have a rich history to look back on with regard to Religion and its failings when overly dominate in society. We are only beginning to experience the same issues in Science. However, we have to be careful not to make these two mutually exclusive. Lack of religion does not mean dominance of science and lack of science does not mean dominance of religion.

My observations of the universe and the world around me are guided by science. My interaction with the universe and the world around me is guided by my ethics which wouldn’t exist w/o religion.
