I’m with you! This state is beautiul, but the politics is beginning to outway any pros I can think of for staying here. Wyoming’s a short drive and I hear the snowboarding in Jackson Hole is really good.

Another senseless wet willy tragedy. I think we need a zero tolerence policy on fingers in schools. Or maybe just an outright ban on fingers everywhere. Or maybe we can just realize that he is a kid being a kid, and get on with our lives.

Lol, that’s along the lines of what I was thinking Bob. All they had to do was tell PETA that they tried for an hour or two to adopt the shark out, but couldn’t find a family for it, or a dumpster big enough to throw the shark in.

And right now it’s all privately funded. As long as it stays that way it is no ones business what the charity’s for, be it dog/cat food, cancer, wounded vets or what ever.

Now, I don’t have much college experience, just a year at a satalite campus of Ohio State, so I have no idea what Honor Court is or how it works, but it seems to me that if this guy did rape her, she should go to the police so he can go to a real court, with real judges, real attorneys, and real jail house ‘shower lovin’.

My wife and I are pit bull owners also, we have two at the moment (any more then that it gets a little crowded in the truck). I understand Buehrle’s decision not to live anywhere without his dog, I wouldn’t move my family to a place that wouldn’t allow my dogs either. I don’t treat my dogs like people, I treat them like dogs, but they are a member of my family. They know their limits and boundries. My friends come over with their small children (2-4yrs old) and play with our dogs all the time, and not once have they gone home sans face. If they are raised properly they are an awesome breed and I will not own a breed out side of the bull family. They are one of the most tested breeds by the American Temperment Test Society and score higher then most dogs (APBT 86.8% and AST 84.2%) people consider to be “family friendly”. You can go to atts.org and check for yourself. Pit bulls were once respected in our country, the most decorated war dog is a pit, Sgt. Stubby from WWI. Teddy Roosevelt had a pit, and so did the Little Rascels, Hellen Keller and Laura Ingles Wilder both had pits along with a long list of prominent people throughout our history. Get to know a real pit before you cast judgement. One with a responsible owner, not a half-a$$ caretaker of the breed. Throughout most of our history as a country, they were called “nanny dogs” for a reason.
