What makes sense, white? What makes you think I’m a, “dope head”? My engineering degree? My decorated combat tours? My successful career? My weekly attendance in church? My charitable giving and service projects? WHAT EXACTLY??? Is some little green plant SO TERRIBLE that all that doesn’t matter?

And Luc, you spent all the rest of that gibberish basically saying that I was right on all counts, you just don’t accept the premise…well, I don’t care of you do or not, because we will never agree on it and we both, “know” the others understanding is wrong

  • July 29, 2014 at 9:14pm

Jells, I said nothing of the sort, you will have to be more specific as to what made you think that…anyone who has been able to rationalize the murder of the innocent (don’t care what you or any scientific organization has to say about it, luc) has a skewed moral compass…removing God from the public square is NOTHING but an attack on the religious, as true atheists would completely ignore any and all references to an imaginary god…and if you attempt to force ANYONE to do ANYTHING against their religious beliefs (any religion), you are a tyrant…I was never suggesting conforming to Christian laws or anything

hey Crow, we found some common ground! I am a fairly successful Marketing rep, and decorated combat vet, and father of 3 allstar athlete, straight A students…I also smoke weed, EVERY SINGLE DAY! I do it at home, before bed, and NEVER at work…tell me again why my employment options should be limited because of that?

and PS, Grumpy, the rope hemp makes is many times stronger than nylon, costs MUCH MUCH less to produce, and is far better for the environment than producing nylon

Lol…the pot plant has 10,000s of industrial and medicinal uses…here, please forgive the name of the site, but read the article and tell me that ANYTHING they mention in it is false…the industrial uses alone are staggering, imagine plastic bottles that actually BIODEGRADE!!!

Yeah, cause the medical and pharmaceutical industries don’t have ANYTHING to lose in legalizing the single most versatile natural substance on the planet…and we know that everything we read on the Internet is true…wow, you are SUCH a deep thinker

But to be more serious for a moment…if you support the murder of innocent babies, if you support the removal of God from the public square, your soul is dark…if you support forcing people to accept deviance, limiting free speech against Muslims/gays, forcing Christians to participate in things against their beliefs, you are a tyrant…I won’t speak to you getting hit by a car, but if you are a modern liberal you embody the ANTITHESIS of what it means to be American, so there really is no common ground to find

  • July 28, 2014 at 1:13pm

Well, we could start by having you stop being all those things…

  • [5] July 25, 2014 at 3:11pm

actually, this shift isnt AT ALL what you pro deviance folks think it is…these aren’t polls showing how people feel about homosexuals themselves, or what beliefs motivate the, “support” for gay marriage…as you see on this site quite often, there are now 2 major camps for conservatives on the issue. One places the negative social and cultural impact of embracing deviance ahead of constitutional freedoms, while the other does not…for instance, if 54% of people polled, “support” gay marriage, it is more like that 30% actually support it, and 24% are merely expressing that the government MUST treat all people equally, so as long as their are benefits associated with ANY marriage, gays must be allowed to receive said benefits.

Obviously, this does not at all mean that the other 24% think homosexuality is normal, healthy, or good for society, they simply value constitutionality above all else.

James, there were, “dozens of systems and institutions” that were effected by ending slavery, desegregating, ect…if your entire argument against polygamy is based on how it effects the current system, then NO significant societal changes would EVER have occurred…its truly baffling that you cannot see the utter hypocrisy in denying polygamists the same rights you want for gays

Lucretius, you don’t know how to use google? There are a host of groups pushing pedophilia as a sexual orientation, and some claim that it does no harm to the child and can actually be a healthy, loving relationship…as to bestiality, there are already several European countries that allow people to marry their pets…I understand that for you to accept this as truth, you must also recognize the role normalizing homosexuality has played in this downward spiral, so it’s perfectly understandable that you choose to remain willfully ignorant

*don’t* consider…man I love not being able to edit comments

  • July 24, 2014 at 9:28am

actually, I’ve never felt like Obama came across with any of those attributes…I guess I am just good at picking out the fakers? And I don’t actually, “judge” Stern at all, I was just pointing out how he COMES ACROSS on his TV show and when he speaks about things like this…I suppose I just consider his gross sense of humor to be as large a negative as you do

  • [1] July 23, 2014 at 10:08pm

No Harry, giving benefits to ANY marriage is unconstitutional, defining the term, “marriage”, as between one man and one woman, is completely within the bounds of states rights

  • [19] July 23, 2014 at 9:40pm

Honesty Armed, what are you using as your criteria? If you watch the man on Americas Got Talent, or listen to him when he speaks about things that actually matter, he comes across as sincere, caring, passionate, and pretty darn conservative

  • July 23, 2014 at 9:24pm

Hold on now…you admit that I am showing you the right way to do this, but you continue to justify unconstitutional behavior in the name of expedition??? What kind of precedent does that set? Are you willing to allow a different judge to circumvent the constitution in the name of any other cause, just because LEGAL recourse, “won’t happen any time soon”???

Think about it guys…if this tactic isn’t ok for all situations, it isn’t ok for ANY situation…the federal government MUST remain 100% objective in every case

  • July 23, 2014 at 9:05pm

Ripe…how am I advocating anything other than equality? I’m asking for TRUE equality, by which the government stops favoring ANY definition of domestic partnership…just don’t deny my the freedom to NOT associate with you, and we will be totally fine with each other

  • July 23, 2014 at 8:48pm

So you are ok with denying gay couples children, correct? What are the stats for children born to siblings that would have you deny them children? I bet I can make an equally compelling case that children raised in same sex households are likewise exposed to risk…

    Anyway…

Are you in agreement with me, then, that we simply remove the government from marriage and go let you be deviant in whatever way doesn’t harm another?

  • [3] July 23, 2014 at 8:19pm

Harry…ok, can a brother a sister get married? Hell, more pointedly, can two brothers? Don’t get me wrong, I actually believe that you should be able to have a “legal paring” (marriage is a covenant with God, and one that homosexuals simply CANNOT enter into) with whoever, whatever, as-many-ever you want, but the government should provide literally NO benefits for it, so no one would care…

too bad that would allow for the massive funds raised and political power wielded…every single judge that strike these laws down, does so extra constitutionally, and illegally…they should simply point out that the federal government has no legal authority over family dynamics, and no power to grant special privileges (of ANY KIND) to ANY group for ANY reason…them, it’s up to the legislative branch to put forth bills to remove the government from marriage completely.

But of course, equality isn’t REALLY what the militant gay lobby is about…
