  So, since ProPublica is legally organized as a non-profit, shouldn’t a few of these affected conservative groups do a request for information about them? Tit for tat, sauce for goose and all that. I’m betting it might gain some traction at one or more IRS offices.

  Have a cousin who’s a bigwig in the Guntersville area. He’s either developed or financed the development of most of that region. Bankrolled most of the political campaigns too. A big hunter and 2nd Amendmentt guy. Pretty bad-a$$ lawyer to boot. Think I’ll pass this along to him, just in case he’s missed it. If Mayor Dollar hasn’t received a call from him already….methinks she will soon.

  I think the Dems had someone with a voodoo doll during both Rubio’s response and Jindal’s previously. Don’t know how else to explain the odd tics and the dry mouth for two polished speakers. Have seen both guys in person and in interviews. They speak very well.

  As for those of you slamming Rubio.. Yeah, he’s not a true small c conservative. But he at least talks the talk and walks a good part of the walk. Floridian, so I’ve seen him in action at the state level and now at the federal. He’s way better than idiot McCain or swishy Grahamnesty on virtually everything. And again, he communicates conservative ideas well; in a way that independents go, “Yeah, I can agree with that”.

  I’m not ready to anoint him or anything like that. I want more and better, conservative-wise. But I’ll take Marco’s 80%. Beats the alternative by a long, long shot.

  Funny….the libs in my paper are calling me and people who believe like me the enemy. I hear it from trolls like you on conservative/libertarian sites. On other political sites, libs have said they wish folks who believe like me would “burn to death from a flaming tire around their neck”. Lib/prog politicians say we’re nazi’s and worse. And the current president has insulted folks who believe like me, lied and mis-characterized us at every turn, has done almost everything in his power to undermine everything we believe in…and he is looking for even more control.

  Yeah, right…. I’m supposed to go Kumbaya, bow down and hand him and folks like him the means to destroy me and folks who believe like me? I’ll go with General McAuliffe’s reply at Bastogne…. NUTS!

  His unhinged rants remind me of Alec Baldwin…..amongst other certifiably loony lefties. You know the guy who, on national TV advocated the murder of the Speak of the House and his family. Birds of a feather.

  BTW – Baldwin is hosting the NFL Honors program before the Super Bowl. NBC just made sure a bunch of us “high-information” folks won’t be watching.
