  I too was kind of shocked that he is leaving at 16 years. Would have made a big difference if he stayed in for another 4 years (not sure we are hearing the whole story as to why is out, supposedly without disability?)

  So often I hear the press refer to someone who is not longer in the military as “retired”. I wish they would get this right.
