Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld Goes on Scathing Rant Against ‘Pathetic Tool’ Jim Carrey and His Anti-Gun Parody Video
March 25, 2013 at 11:09pm
I’m surprised Beckel was the one who pointed out that Carrey is from Canada. I’m one of those people who tends to think along the lines that if you aren’t a citizen of the country you live in, maybe you should keep your mouth shut.
Gallup: Here Are the Most ‘Conservative’ & ‘Liberal’ States

Lifeguard Fired After Violating Policy and…Saving a Drowning Man’s Life
July 5, 2012 at 3:53pm
This story (coming from my former summer job as a lifeguard while in college) really ****** me off. If I was this kid and the company came back to me with an offer to re-hire me, I’d say “Thanks but no thanks. I’ll go somewhere else.”
Even now, when I’m a patron at my community pool, I keep an eye on things and would be willing to help lifeguards in a heartbeat if something happened. If Papa Cass has a problem with that, then I won’t rescue him if I see him drowning and tell him that I’m just following orders.
Hustler’s Larry Flynt Responds to Fake Explicit S.E. Cupp Image: ‘That’s Satire’
May 24, 2012 at 9:03am
Flynt may have won a court case but there’s a big difference between being able to do something because it’s legal and actually doing the right thing (AKA taking the high ground).

He definitely went off the deep end…but having said that, he was in my hometown, and this speech might actually resonate with the people there.

I can’t stop laughing my A$$ off!!!! I guess we’ll chalk that up as poetic justice.
And Mr. Matthews, the capital of Turkey is Ankara, not Istanbul…so you were wrong on two counts. Everyone is now dumber for having listened to you.

Cross-Dressing Fan Learns The Hard Way: Don’t Trifle With an Annoyed Rugby Player
April 19, 2012 at 8:49am
This never happened during my rugby games! I have to applaud the player’s “restraint”…using a textbook rugby tackle, instead of unleashing a vicious hit and knocking Goldilocks out.
Defiant University of North Dakota Brings Back Fighting Sioux Nickname
February 9, 2012 at 10:04am
This is total crap and I’m glad the alumni are putting up a fight. The same thing happened at my alma mater during my first and second years. I attended Miami University (aka Miami of Ohio). When I entered the school we were known as the “Redskins”. Now, that name may sound demeaning but the interesting twist was that the actual Miami Indian Tribe (for which the school and former mascot are named) saw the name “Redskins” as a badge of honor (sidenote: anyone who is of Miami tribe lineage can attend Miami U for free!).
Midway through the football season my second year, the name was changed to the “RedHawks”. There is no link that I know of between a redhawk and the school’s history. I argued that if a name change was coming, we should have gone the way of William & Mary and been renamed the “Tribe”. Instead, there are a large group of alums, myself included, who will not wear anything that says RedHawks on it. Case in point, my baseball cap – I ripped out the stitching in the back that said RedHawks.
This PC nonsense has to stop and I’m glad there are pockets of resistance to it!
