When you pretend to teach, you have students who pretend to learn. The quality of education that your child gets is in the hands of your elected officials. School Boards across America, ranging in quality from excellent to dismal, have the biggest influence over exactly what goes on inthe classroom. YOU voters HAVE controll of your school boards. Parents need to be more involved in their children’s education beyond “back to school night” and “parent-teacher conferences.” Know who your school board is. Know what they stand for. Make changes as necessary.
Teachers and school administrators are OUR EMPLOYEES. If they are not up to performing their jobs, take it to a higher level. If you want a good school system, you have to get involved and and apply energy for it to happen. The alternative is to allow the rot to continue and HOPE that your children will make it thru OK.

Maybe he’s right since Republicans are no longer conservatives, Christie’s progressive leanings fill the bill of a modern Republican.
Our republic is rife with political shmucks and shills like Christie, on both sides of the isle.
He more aptly represents the progressive crispy-cream party.

The article would have been more complete if it NAMED the eavesdropping school official who called in the bogus violation, and the Officers who arrived, did the initial investigation, and then made the arrest. The Watch Commander who approved the Officers’report should be named in the article as well. These are all public employees and we should know WHO works for us and HOW they are conducting themselves and carrying out their duties while on the clock. Will the DA file this case?
