Feds Decrypt Laptop of Defendant Ordered to Turn Over Hard Drive
March 1, 2012 at 4:29pm
No backdoor in TruCrypt. If you password is LONG enough they will never get it. Pick a password over 10 characters that is not a word in the dictionary and you are golden. You can also setup 2 passwords, one for the info you want to hide and one for a “plausible deniablity” operating system (with no incriminating evidence) Just make sure you give them the “right” one when they force you to give them your password.
Ex-ESPN Employee Releases Passionate Statement Explaining ‘Chink in the Armor’ Headline ‘Lapse in Judgement’

Glenn,
I think GBTV could use a evening sports roundup segment. I think you should hire Anthony Federico. He deserves better than ESPN. You can show all the sports clips from the day and let us know what is going on in sports. (Not that sports to me is very important but it is to a lot of people) Just my $0.02 (before taxes and inflation)
Sarah McKinley, Teen Mom Who Shot and Killed Intruder to Protect Infant Son, Speaks Out in Interview

Love her! That is just one of the reasons we have a 2nd amendment. I would love to hear a follow up about how long it took for the police to arrive after he was shot.
Her: I think someone is breaking into my house. How long until someone gets here?
Dispatch: We are very busy right now and will try to get someone out right away. (21 minutes on phone?)
Her: Calls back. I just shot someone breaking into my house. How long until someone gets here?
Dispatch: We are sending a unit now. (Minutes?)

‘Uh-oh’: Toddler Playing With Parent’s Smartphone Buys Multiple $100 Apps
December 29, 2011 at 1:39pm
This is too weird. First if you purchase an App from the iTunes store they do not send you a bill, it comes out of any credits you have in your account. If there is no money in your iTunes account you can not purchase it. My iPhone, not sure about yours, makes me put in my password whenever I try to purchase an App. I did not have to set anything for this it was this way out of the box. Something does not smell right about this claim. I wonder what the apps were.

What Is the 13-Pound Metal ‘Space Ball’ That Left a 12.5-Foot Crater in Namibia?
December 23, 2011 at 12:18pm
Battery for a satellite. I saw something that looked just like this many years ago while servicing hardware at Boeing. There was this round object sitting on a shelf so I asked the guy what it was and he told me it was a battery for a satellite. It is round so it does not mess up the balance of the rotating satellite. Each “nipple” is a terminal for wires. I am not sure if I should have posted this because I was in a “secret” area of Boeing in Kent WA. (Kent Space Center)
