  Just like Bill Clinton said – the public is stupid. Here you have a company charged with the resonsibility of writing and publishing school textbooks. On the one hand, the publisher says it was a “mistake.” Now, just how patronizing can you get? To label the map “Occupied Palestine” would have required a conscious decision to CHANGE what was written on all previous maps. That is NOT a mistake, dear Publisher! In order to hold a job writing/editing textbooks, one would have to at least graduate from high school. Now, this publisher has a problem. He has people working for him that were schooled incorrectly, or they didn’t listen during their world history classes, or they hate Jews, or they hate all people who love God, or …. well, you get the point. Bill Clinton – we are NOT stupid. We know what’s going on and how you and your ilk want nothing more than to see Israel decimated. Yet you sit so piously in your church pew putting on an act of obedience to God. For shame!

  Oh yes there are, MICURMUDGEON. They just aren’t all called “jail” or “prison.” Some are called “star communities” under the UN-ICLEI mandates of UNa21. Others are “hybrid” cities (like the one built in New Mexico, the one under construction in Mexico, the 20 cities built in Russia, and several cities under construction in China, etc.) — all of them vacant and waiting for occupants. Holding pens, reservations, & concentration camps, such as those American Indians were forced onto, have already been prepared underground and inside of mountains (you can view the videos of these on Clyde Lewis’ website). The military for many countries, including the U.S., have been preparing for mass residences. Do not underestimate the cleverness of globalization strategists who are now in control of the U.S. and other countries. They are planning, preparing, & much of that through the auspices of the UN program called Sister Cities Network for Sustainable Development (SCNSD) whose mission is to ensure full implementation of UNa21 in all countries participating in the program. SCNSD’s Major Partners, including SCI (Sister Cities Intn’l), are helping SCNSD meet its mission and goals. Thousands of cities & counties in the U.S. alone have contracts now with other countries via SCI, sharing & swapping its people, institutions, & information. You should be concerned about SCNSD/SCI. Very concerned.

  For CIVILWARCOMETH: During Bill Clinton’s reign as President, he made numerous cultural changes in the policies of federal government agencies. The agency I worked for (for 30 years) elected to hold agency-wide training meetings for all male employees rather than just send out copies of new cultural policies for federal employees. The participants at the meetings were given handouts among which was a list of terms & phrases considered politically incorrect & which would no longer be tolerated in the workforce nor in agency correspondence & regulations.

  It took better than a year, best I can remember, to weed out all of the suddenly unacceptable terms & phrases from the agency’s manuals of regulations. By the time all the changes were made in the regulations, & copies were printed for every agency office throughout the nation, for every other public & non-public office that maintained federal policies & regulations (there were thousands at that time), etc., an incredible amount of your tax dollars were expended.

  So what does that have to do with the comment by CIVILWARCOMETH? One of the terms no longer acceptable in the federal government was (& still is, I presume) “Lady.”

  It was not a problem at the time for Hillary Rodham-Clinton, nor is it a problem today for the wife of Barak Hussein Obama. These women don’t relish being called “first lady.”

  Why should any of this come as a surprise? Mr. & Mrs. Obama & their ilk have actively promoted racial division during most of their adult lives and, in particular, over the past four years. They’ve made it quite clear they intend to ratchet up the racial divisiveness. Many of us (not the majority, though) recognize what their endgame is. This racial divisiveness is merely a means of putting in play events which will make way for the Obamas and other powerbrokers to complete the scheme for total take-down of what little remains of this Republic. It will happen because the majority of the 50% of American adults who vote are easily manipulated and are not interested in standing on their principals to the same degree that the colonists stood 230 years ago. It will happen also because of the remaining 50% of American adults — the ones who don’t vote. The “star communities” which have been prepared in the U.S. by your cities, UN-ICLEI, SCNSD/SCI, and other UN affiliate organizations, will be the receptacle for those survivors rounded up during the intentionally-provoked racial war and collateral uprisings.   Mr. Scarry — When I began reading, I got only as far as the headline of this article. The headline alone screams what is wrong. You continue the theory that politicians should be dictating to We The People the way things should be. You (or the editors) say in the headline: “Will Republicans change relationship to conservative media …” Although I’m not a Republican, my perspective is that conservative media should change its relationship to Republicans —- as in LEAVE THE GOP IN THE DUST! The time is long long overdue for this.

  Tell you what, Mr. Henry. Let’s go ask the parents and wives of the four men murdered at Benghazi whether or not you think the media has OVER reported or UNDERreported what happened. They can’t even get reasonable, if any, responses from the Defense Dept., State Dept., or the Dictator-in-Chief himself. Yeah. I’m sure those parents and wives will say mainstream media has done its job in thoroughly and truthfully reporting the facts, from start to finish. Wrong.

  Those of us in central Oklahoma without cable (just rabbit ears) recently got access to the MEtv network which re-runs the old shows that baby boomers grew up with. Up until now I was kind of enjoyng the re-runs of the Mary Tyler Moore show, but no more. Will find something else to watch during that time slot. I noticed that in the promo commercials Asner did for MEtv, he acted/talked like he was drunk and/or hopped up on drugs. What a miserable ole coot he is, and must have been back during his acting days. Sorry that Mary Tyler Moore had to do scenes where she and Asner were embracing each other. Yuk!

  Perhaps you’re right, Thehalfrican. I’m proud Oklahomans are still permitted to own & carry weapons. Since I live in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area where the current 2012 total of homicides (as of yesterday) was 100, according to KTOK 1000 AM. Oklahoma City is one of 10 U.S. cities ranked in the Top Ten list of major metropolitan areas having the highest number of homicides thus far in 2012.

  As for the entire state of Oklahoma, if 2012′s year-end crime statistics run as much or more than those of 2011 (and they are on track to do just that), there will have been at least 202 forcible rapes, 69 acts of forcible sodomy, 33 sexual assaults with an object, 610 incidents of forcible fondling, 67 cases of statutory rape, 8 cases of incest, and more (much more) that you can check out on OKSBI’s website.

  Sexual assault is despicable, whether committed against one man/woman/child, or against twenty. I feel awful for women in countries where civil and Sharia laws actually cast a blanket of protection over males who sexually misuse women/children – whether by rape or other sexually-related atrocities.

  I will pray and I will carry!

  I’d sure like to know what Costas would want more – a gun or nothing – were something awful to happen in his household. For instance, if some criminals were to burst through his door, then restrain him while they “take liberties” with his wife and daughter. Equally as bad, let’s say scenes from “Red Dawn” (the original movie) start playing out for real on the block where Costas’s house is. Machine gun fire and screams of death fill the air. Would Costas want to grab the phone to call his close personal friends at the White House? Or would he want to yank open his wall safe and load up the 9mm? Costas is a glaring example of his ilk (I call them “sorry butts”) who have shredded this Republic and its constitution, preferring instead the 40 mandates of UNa21. How about you?
